Meditation Class

##### Peaceful Mind in a Stressful World

When life is hectic and complicated, we know that stressing out only makes things worse. But trying to change the external situation isn’t always possible and doesn’t necessarily help because much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind. Also, many of the problems we experience, including ill health are caused or aggravated by this stress.
Using meditation techniques taken from Buddha’s teachings, we can learn new ways of thinking and positive responses to the difficulties we face in life.
Each class consists of a simple guided breathing meditation to calm and still the mind, a short talk, and a second guided meditation based on the topic.
