The Hurt Arms, , DE56 2EL
The Classic Car Show is returning to the Hurt Arms at Ambergate this year. The pub still currently closed for refurb and repair following the floods but the grounds are open. As well as the classic cars we are promised food, music, axe throwing and fun.... So if you've little else to do this Easter Sunday and fancy a nosey round and a bit of fresh air then join us for a couple of hours. There is very limited parking so I advise train to Ambergate station or bus from Derby.

For ease of spotting each other, meet at 12.15 outside the Indian restaurant opposite.

The Old Silk Mill, DE1 3AF, Derby
Join us for a Sunday walk in Derby, and explore maybe a little bit more than normal. Meeting up at the Old Silk Mill pub, the walk only around 2 miles unless we get lost, will take in the gaol, cathedral and a few other places not very often viewed.

We might learn the whereabouts of M.E. Bewty's long since lost sack of treasure. Thought to be hidden in Scotland until recently when new information came to light to suggest it may not be quite as we were led to believe.

Not a fast paced walk, wheelchair, dog and pushchair friendly our aim is to use a bit of brain power, chatter and get some fresh air. Naturally, we will finish back at the pub for a breather and a chinwag and where you may partake of a drink or two, hopefully in the garden if warm enough or maybe stop for a bite to eat.

So go on, do something a little different with your Sunday.

Numbers allowing we may split into 2 or 3 smaller groups at 5 minute intervals.
