Join Desiray of sunshine for a 30-minute outdoor resistance training workout. This is a low impact class where you will learn effective exercises with light weight for beginners and moderate weight for more advance. Are you looking to get outside of the gym and enjoy some fun in the sun with others who have a common interest in strength training? Do you want to learn more about bringing your weights to the beach or park in your own backyard? Have fun getting toned and fit in a no judgement environment, because let's face it we all have to start somewhere. Let's Go!!!
My fitness journey has given me a passion to help others feel empowered, strong and confident in their strength training journey.
What to expect:
- low impact- no jumping (not a fan), gentle on the body reducing the risk of injury
- mind muscle connection- concentrating on muscle contraction and stretching when working out.
- effective reps- build more muscle by working out until failure "make every workout count"
- 30-minute classes- each class will focus on two body parts and abs.
- chest and back
- bicep and triceps
- legs and shoulder
* 3 classes a week for a full body workout (3 x 30-minute classes)
What you will need to bring:
- Mexican blanket or beach towel
- water
- free weights 3lb, 5lb or 7lb (you can get from amazon)
- layers if need (to adjust to any temperature changes)
Donation based on a sliding scale of $10-$20. If you're not able to give anything, please come anyway. I want everyone to enjoy this class. Cash or Venmo excepted.
