Destination Hike is open to any and everyone, no matter your background. Sharing the love of the outdoors is part of our mission.

Our adventure in Peru begins Friday, August 8, 2025 and ends Thursday, August 14, 2025.
Thursday, August 7, 2025, is considered a travel day. Participants will depart from their respective locations in the United States on Thursday, August 7, and arrive in Cusco, Peru, on Friday, August 8, 2025. Most flights are overnight and will put you in Cusco early Friday Morning. You can anticipate spending between $500 and $700 for a coach-class ticket on your international flight.

- Flights: International and domestic flights to and from the destination are not included.
- Dinners: While some meals may be included (please see the itinerary for details), most dinners are not included.
- Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is strongly recommended, but not included in the trip price.
- Emergency Needs: Costs associated with personal emergencies, such as medical expenses, evacuation, or repatriation, are not covered.
We have taken dietary restrictions into account and confirmed that there are restaurants, stores, and markets in the area that cater to all dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, kosher, keto, and more.
Registration Information
Registration will begin January 1, 2025. There are 25 spaces available. We will not accept any new registrants after March 31, 2025. If there is a waitlist, we will assess the possibility of adding additional participants to the trip based on the order they were placed on the waitlist.
Please register only if you have completed the following:
- Read and signed the Destination Hike Waiver https://www.destinationhike.com/waiver
- Are able to financially commit to the monthly payments and assigned due dates
- Are able to financially able to purchase your flight
- Assured you are able to arrive and depart at the scheduled times
- Get your own personal Doctors checkup confirming you are healthy enough to travel 1 month prior to the trip - Due to the high possibility of altitude/elevation sickness, you need to ensure that you are healthy enough to withstand the increased elevation, as well as be able to hike at least 2-3 hours per day.
