What we’re about
We're a diverse group of women who enjoy discovering and learning new things. We offer a large variety of events. Our goal is to share that "aha" moment when a member discovers a new talent or experience. We will keep our event calendar full of wonderful activities. And we are open to posting member's suggestions for events like group runs, charity walks, wine clubs, a particular craft, etc. We plan to have physical activities, opportunities for volunteerism, and activities that involve creating, building and learning. Because of the effort it takes to organize these events, we require you remain an active participant to remain a member.
Many events are scheduled midweek or before the evening hours, however, popular events are scheduled weekends. Some events may require additional fees to cover materials or services but we'll try to keep these costs as low as possible. Occasionally we'll provide special events at no cost. We provide these special events to encourage member's participation. We are looking for members who will stay active and attend our events. We do accept donations/contributions if or when you're able. We sincerely appreciate any dollar amount you can give.
New members will enjoy a 30-day free trial period before the Meetup app (not your Organizers) remove you from active status. Yearly membership dues are $10 payable through MeetUp, or cash/check, or through other electronic means. Event donations can be made at: https://secure.meetup.com/Discover-Learn/contribute/
