About:
This is an East London group that combines cultural activities and socialising. If you're interested in art, exhibitions, hiking, board games, food markets, immersive events and visiting places of historic significance this is the group for you! The majority of attending members are in their 30s or older, but all age groups are welcome. If this sounds good, please join us if you'd like to meet some like-minded people locally while exploring London and beyond.
Group etiquette:
The events are mostly held in smaller groups. To keep the group full of active members, membership is reviewed every now and then, so members who haven't attended anything or been inactive for an extended period of time will be removed, but you are always welcome to rejoin at any time.
Also please RSVP only if you are certain you can attend (of course things happen sometimes and you might have no choice but to cancel, in this case please make sure you update your RSVP ASAP). Members who repeatedly RSVP and don't show up will also be removed, to be fair and respectful to members who are on the waiting lists and do want come to the event. Unless it's a 'show up whenever you want' event, please aim to arrive on time, we will usually hang around for 10 min after meeting time, but unfortunately we can't wait around for people who are later than that as it's unfair to others who are on time.
Also please make sure you have enabled group message notifications as I will send update e-mails to attending members before an event.
