Please note: our members RARELY RSVP to a run. If you're on Facebook, you may wish to join our group there where members post about runs (including getting extra miles in on our long run days prior to the official group start time) and members are more likely to respond to any questions about upcoming runs. Note we sometimes will have 2 group run options on the same day/same time.
Founded in 1980, East Valley Runners is dedicated to the promotion of health and fitness for the beginning to experienced runner, walker, triathlete or ultra-runner. Our club is friendly, supportive, social and an RRCA Member. We offer fun runs, variety of training programs, and social activities. Come run with us! When you opt to join, note that EVR membership dues are only $15 for an individual and $20 for a family annually. Dues may be paid utilizing Pay Pal and using evrpayments@gmail.com, or Venmo at Matthew-Watson-143. There is a $1.00 PayPal service charge which you will need to add to the membership fee.
We allow folks to join our MeetUp group for 30 days to try us out and then request you join the club (via pay dues). If after 30 days dues are not received you will likely be removed from our MeetUp group.

- Meet near the planned finish line along N Riverview between W Rio Salado Pkwy and the Sheraton (if parking is not available along Riverview or Paseo Lago Vista, park behind the Sheraton).
- We will carpool people up as far as Starbucks on McDowell and Power first so they can start by 6 AM then will drop off others along the course.
- Please review the race course map and print out your own turn-by-turn directions https://mesamarathon.com/plan-your-race/marathon/
- Bring water as there will be none along the route
- We will have refreshments at the finish.
- PLEASE RSVP so we can plan enough vehicles to take you to your starting point so no one has to drive anyone back out after.
