This is a special dinner reservation in Oro Valley for those who are either joining us on the Friday evening before our Southern Arizona Wine Tour .. or if you happen to be in Oro Valley on Friday evening, join us!

Join us on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 for a Southern Arizona vineyard tour in Sonoita/Elgin. We have secured a private bus that accommodates 14.

This is a PRIVATE tour, just for our group. We tentatively decided on the following vineyards to visit, but they can change depending on group vote.

The cost per attendee is $250 and includes the following:

• Round-trip private bus transportation from Tucson to Sonoita/Elgin
• Three (or four if there is time) vineyards to visit and taste wines
• Lunch at one of the vineyards
• Complimentary bottled water and snacks throughout the day
• Wine tasting fees and souvenir glass
• Experienced 5 Star rated guides

Lunch options
The tour operator said that orders are delivered to the second winery on the route. Options may change as we get closer to the event depending on changes in availability:

• The Italian: red wine-infused salami, pickled red onion, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, herbed oil, balsamic glaze on a ciabatta
• Gouda Club: hand carved oven roasted turkey, bacon, gouda, garlic sauce on a fresh ciabatta
• Choked Chicken: rotisserie chicken breast, spinach/artichoke/parmesan blend on a ciabatta
• Roast Beast: roast beef, sun-dried tomatoes, onion, cheese, and horsey sauce on a ciabatta
• Mediterranean Veggie: Roasted red peppers, Marinated artichoke hearts, herb chèvre garlic tomato bruschetta, locally made olive tapenade herbed oil ciabatta.
• Charcuterie box: a rotational selection of meats, cheeses, nuts, marinated veggies, and crackers. (Can be made gluten-free)
• Avocado Balsamic Vegan Wrap: Avocado, Lettuce, Tomato and Balsamic
• BBQ Chicken Wrap: Grilled Chicken tossed in BBQ sauce with Creamy Slaw and Tomato
• Creamy Tequila Lime Chicken: Grilled Chicken, Pepper Jack, Lettuce, Tomato, and Creamy Tequila Lime Sauce
• Baja Chicken: Grilled Chicken, Bacon, Pico de Gallo, Romaine, with Mayo and Sriracha on Whole Wheat Bun
• Turkey Cheddar Club: Deli Turkey, Bacon, Lettuce Tom, Onion, and Mayo on Whole Wheat Bun
• Bruschetta Turkey: Deli Turkey, Basil, Red Onion, Tomato Olive Oil, and Balsamic.
• Cali Turkey: Deli Turkey, Avocado, Pico de Gallo, Lettuce and Mayo
• Cowboy Chicken: Grilled Chicken, Bacon, Pickled Red Onions, Jalapeno, Lettuce, Tomato, and BBQ on Whole Wheat Bun.
• Croissant Cranberry Turkey: Deli Turkey, Swiss, Lettuce, Tomato, and Cranberry Aioli on Croissant

All choices come with a bag of chips and a cannoli for dessert.
All sandwiches can also be made with gluten-free bread.

Gratuity, hotel, and anything else you purchase along the way is up to you.

Greetings, Wine Friends!

Imre & Lorna invite you to their home in Queen Creek (Hawes & Ocotillo) to celebrate wine that pairs with pizza and pasta! For this event, I will be firing up the pizza oven and making pies until we run out of dough! The great thing about pizza is that just about every wine goes well with it - but that will be up to you to decide! We also want to highlight pasta, which depending on red sauce vs white sauce, has its own best pairing wine, but figuring out which is the fun part!

What to bring – Food and Wine
Wine – At least one bottle per attendee. If you are bringing a guest, bring two bottles! The wine that you select should be something that you enjoy and trust. If you like, include a note on the bottle about what inspired your choice. This can be location of purchase, cost, invoked memories, or all of the above!
Food – Please bring a dish, along with serving utensils. So that we don't have too many appetizers, we also need volunteers to bring mains and side dishes as well! Mains can be soup, casseroles, or even Instant Pot meatball and pasta yumminess. Please post in the event chat what you are bringing so that attendees will know what categories need to be represented.
RSVP and Directions
RSVPs will remain open until the event starts, but only those who have RSVP'ed by the Friday before the event will receive the address. If you have RSVP'ed and don't receive directions, contact one of the organizers - we won't leave anyone stranded :) You are welcome to bring guests but please include them in your RSVP as well as providing the appropriate amount of food and wine. We will be monitoring messages on Meetup so if you have questions or get lost, let us know!
