What we’re about
Established originally in 2017 with a brief COVID-induced hiatus, East Bay Seniors is back in action!
We're a group of friendly 60 "plus or minus" folks who love a variety of stuff, including games, coffee, restaurants, bowling, book clubs, crafts, concerts, and exploring anything the area has to offer.
Most of us join and attend alone, but you are also welcome to bring your friendly significant other, friend, or family member! This is all about making new connections, and getting yourself out there!
My name is Marcie, and I live in the East Bay so therefore center my hosted events around there, but we are happy to accommodate meetup members from further out if anyone wants to help me host. This is a no-judgment, all-fun zone to socialize, get together and enjoy what amazing things we live near!

"This month, we'll be holding our first special edition of Community Crafting Club! The library is bringing in local artist Faye Silvia to host a Paper Beads Workshop, best suited for ages 8 & up.
At this workshop, you'll learn how to transform paper into beautiful, handmade beads! The session will begin with a demonstration on creating different bead shapes, followed by time to cut, roll, and glue your own. Choose from pre-cut paper or design your own shapes. Once dry, use provided plastic beads and thread to craft bracelets, necklaces, keychains, or take your beads home to use later. This eco-friendly craft is simple, fun, and a great way to upcycle paper into something unique!"
How fun! Let's play together.
