Otto Sushi of Kirkland was the meeting place of the first ever Eastside Anime Hangouts. In February 2019, Our founder Joe had a vision to create a casual and inclusive group of anime, manga, and gaming fans that resided on the Eastside to meet in person and share our fandom and to make connections. Since then, we have had people from all over the PNW and globally join the EAH. At one point, we had 950 members,of course not all were active. This has been an awesome six year journey and I have seen many changes over the years as a founding member. EAH is proud of the connections that have been formed because of this group: one practically engaged couple and several bff pairs. There are four original members that are dedicated to the continuation of this meetup that has now become a club. Our journey isn't over.
