We are a small and friendly group of people and meet up once a month to discuss a book and have a chat over coffee/wine.
We usually identify a theme and read books relating to this.
At the moment we are reading books about books and booksellers.

Let's start a year with something different.

Patricia Oram's 1934 schoolgirl diary beautifully captures the charm and delight of the Edinburgh of the period,throughout the seasons of the year, as we follow in her footsteps, as she describes daily school and family life. But what makes her journal so highly readable driving the narrative forward, is her turbulent relationship with her friend, Joan Parkin

After discussing the book we will plan the activities for the next year.
