Welcome to the Edinburgh JavaScript Meetup! We run monthly meetups for JavaScript enthusiasts. We are open to software developers of all skill levels and all backgrounds. We host technical talks, community introductions, networking and social events. Come and socialise with fellow JavaScript developers! We are holding a social and networking event to kick off 2025!

We’ll be meeting at Joseph Pearce on Tuesday 21st January, 19:00.

All are welcome to attend, even if you have never attended an EdinburghJS meetup before. It's a great way to meet fellow developers in a relaxed environment.

Welcome to the EdinburghJS February Meetup! We’ll be meeting on Tuesday 18th February, 18:30 for light refreshments and talks, venue to be confirmed.

We are still planning this event. If you would like to speak or volunteer for this event, or any of our other events, then please get in touch via our speaking and volunteering form, or join our Discord via scottishtechnology.club.

Our talks aim to introduce members of the community, fostering networking, mentorship, learning, and collaboration. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned engineer.

Enjoy pizza and drinks before the talks—a great chance to network with fellow JavaScript enthusiasts.

A livestream will be available on the evening on the Scottish Technology Club YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/@scottechclub

We have set up a Discord server for people to share links, tips, jobs and JavaScript problems. We will be posting slides after the event there. Join via the link on scottishtechnology.club.

If travel costs are a barrier to attending, please let us know—we have a diversity and hardship fund to assist.

Space is limited, so please keep your RSVP status up to date to help others attend if you can no longer make it, and also to give us an idea of numbers to provide catering for.
