What we’re about
In "Embrace Discomfort" I organize events almost every week. We mostly go hiking, but we also do other activities, and most of the events take place in Denmark.
I'm open to any suggestions, so please DM me if you have any.
Here are the group rules that I expect everyone to follow:
- The purpose of this group, as the name implies, is to embrace discomfort. This means that when you hit the RSVP button, you're committing to join. I understand that sometimes circumstances prevent attendance, but not showing up without notice is a red flag. Doing this twice will result in removal from the group. I'm sorry to start with such a strict rule, but recently there have been many no-shows.
- Participants must respect each other, regardless of religion, nationality, ethnicity, etc. Activities and joy unify us.
- Some events are paid, such as booking a shelter or a car for trips to different cities. If you RSVP for a paid event, I expect you to transfer the money within 24 hours. Otherwise, you'll be moved to "Not Going" section.
- For hiking events, you must be self-supported and have all the required gear with you, such as a tent (if needed), good hiking shoes, etc.
- Late cancellations/ghosting will not be tolerated. Anyone who cancels late will be removed from the group immediately. I'm sorry to make such a harsh statement, but apparently, some people won't adhere to this basic rule.
Thank you!

- 15 KM Hiking in the beautiful Æbleø in Fyn (Paid event 500 kr.)Copenhagen Central Station, København€70.00
This is a unique hiking experience.
Æbelø is a small island located off the northern coast of Funen in Denmark. It is known for its unique natural features, including its geology, wildlife, and plant life.
We will hike on the water when the tide reaches its lowest at 09:27 on June 1st. However, it is highly recommended to start the hike 30 minutes earlier, so we'll start hiking at 09:00.
Meeting point: Copenhagen Central Station (in front of Espresso House) on June1st at 06:00. However, this location is likely to change, as I am planning to rent a car to make the trip easier (two hours by car), and therefore, this event is paid (500 kr) MobilePay to: 92 26 00 52
Why 500 kr? Car rental is 1900 kr. including insurance + 600 KM mileage. + Fuel + Bridge fee. Please note that we will be hiking on the water, so you need to take off your shoes. Don't worry, we'll start when the tide is at its lowest.
