What we’re about
Enter in Silence is a gathering for everyone who wants to carve out some time of quiet and reflection their weeks. We meet every Sunday at 4 pm for 45 minutes of meditation and contemplation in the Christian tradition.
We strive to create an inclusive and anti-oppressive community where we hope everyone will feel welcomed and valued. Whether you're new to meditation or have been practicing for years, whether you've never encountered the Christian tradition or feel tired of the way "church" is usually done, our group is open to people of all backgrounds and experiences.
Come as you are, and join us in fostering a community of love, joy, and peace.

See all- Enter In Silence MeditationAll Saints Church, Hamilton, ON
We enter in silence to the space and settle ourselves. Starting right at 4 pm, we sing some Taize-style chants, listen to a reading from the Bible, reflect on our weeks, listen to a meditative excerpt from a variety of sources, and offer up some prayers. All this is interspersed with plenty of times of mindful silence. We are invited to share our thoughts and reflections if we feel comfortable to do so.
