Spring has come to the Cascade Foothills, so we'll head there for a ride up the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie. 25 of our 32 miles will be within feet of the river with a smooth fairly new asphalt road beneath us and deep forest to both sides. Picnic lunch at the bridge where the paving ends.
Meet at 10:30 am at the trailside parking lot for the Snoqualmie Valley Railtrail, at the corner of Ballarat Ave N and E 4th St. in North Bend. No toilets at the parking lot, but the King County Library 1/2 block west on E 4th St has them and opens at 10 am.
Google says it's 900' of climbing on the way in and 190' on the way back, so have your climbing legs and/or your ebike battery all ready for the fun. The good news is that the vast majority of the climbing is gradual, and the scenery so enchanting that your attitude will leave you forgetting all about the altitude.
