What we’re about
Most activities will be in the Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Tampa Bay areas.
We are a diverse group of women who are looking to get out, have fun and make new and lasting connections. We welcome women in their 40's and 50's and beyond.
Our group is a combination of single and married ladies and all members are eligible to organize their own events that are of interest to them once they have attended an event.
We enthusiastically welcome all new members!!
We encourage our members to participate as hosts (event organizer) and to attend our events that you know you will enjoy or even maybe something you would not normally think of doing. If there is an activity you are passionate about that has not being scheduled, you can ask if there is interest and you can host the event. This is very unique opportunity that most Meetup groups do not offer so take advantage of it.

Please take a moment to read group guidelines:
Picture - All group members are required to have a recent photo of themselves. This is necessary so organizers and other group members can recognize you at events. You will not be approved without a picture. If you would like to reduce the number of unwanted SPAM advances, we recommend that you take a picture with a spouse, friend, brother, coworker and use it so you look like a couple. It greatly reduces the number of unwanted messages you get.
Appropriate Conduct: All members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards each other and venue staff.
No Show Policy - With the exception of emergencies, if you RSVP for an event and do not attend, this is considered a no show. AFTER TWO NO SHOWS, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP. If you are unable to make an event we ask that you please change your RSVP at least 48 hours ahead of time. This may allow for another to join if an event was at capacity.
If you have a last minute issue and cannot make the event, please direct message your host to make them aware.
We all need to take ownership of our events as hosts. When you host an event and there are no shows, please go in and mark the member as a no show so that we can ensure members are following the guidelines.
Some events require deposits or are pre-paid events due to the nature of the event. Deposits are non-refundable.
Soliciting- This group does not welcome soliciting of any nature (this includes personal, religious, professional or political reasons). Please adhere to this at all times.
Please do not send instant messages through Meetup to people you haven't met. Propositions to meet outside of Meetup events with strangers is not safe.
If you have not attended a meetup in 12 months, your membership will be subject to removal. This group is for all the lovely women who want to have fun and make connections.
