What we’re about
The main purpose of this meet up group is to put together players at around a 3.5 level to play mixed doubles tennis. Please note however that our members want to play those with similar abilities and this meet up is not for beginners.
Please only signup if you can commit to playing 2 sets.
Players are also expected to bring and open a new can of balls at least once every four sign-ups. There is a $5 annual fee to cover the costs of the monthly fees that Meet-Up charges to maintain the website. All new members have a 90 day trial period.
Since we play on Fairfax County Schools courts, we cannot reserve them. There are 7 courts and we normally use 2-5 courts depending on the number of people showing up. If we have an odd number of people showing up, don't worry, one court will play Canadian doubles. We divide up into groups of 4 by selecting cards (Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks) . After each court completes their set, we divide up again by selecting cards. This allows everyone a fair chance to play with other players.
We will play year round as the weather permits. Please check the weather before you leave, if it is raining we will not be playing. The courts however dry very quickly. I will do my best to post updates.
Also, please remember to bring a water bottle, there are no water fountains. There are Porta Johns located on the soccer field.

To get to the courts, turn off of Main Street on to Whitacre Rd, take the 2nd left into the parking lot, walk up to the courts. You will see the 7 blue courts at the bottom of the picture.
