Studio Camera Announcement
Interested in the behind-the-scenes magic of TV production? Take the first step by joining our free hands-on introductory training session to learn how to operate our television studio cameras. By the end of this course, you'll have the skills needed to volunteer as a TV studio camera operator for programs produced at the station, gaining valuable production experience and connecting with others who share similar interests.
Prerequisite:
To enroll in this classes students must be FPA members and our annual membership fee is $26. Helpful membership information can be found here: www.fcac.org/membeship-information
Class fee: Free but students must be FPA members
Duration: 3 hours

Teleprompter and Studio Props
This course is designed to teach our members how to operate the Cue iT Teleprompter software and controller used in our television studio production. Students will also receive a hands-on demonstration of our key studio props and best practices for their use. Successful completion of this training event will certify students as production teleprompter operator and as a set assistant and allow them to start earn production experience by volunteering in the various community production held at our studios.

A Taste of Improv - Lights, Camera, Action!
Enjoy the benefits of this workshop by participating in the steps required to complete a successful studio production. As part of this instructor-led training, participants will take on roles such as talent, collaborate in developing a script, and execute the production plan from inception to studio completion. This course is recommended for members who have completed any of our core studio equipment workshops, or for TV producers seeking practical experience in conducting a studio production. Additionally, if you are working to fulfill one of our studio volunteer requirements, participation in this class will satisfy that request.

Adobe After Effects Essentials
After Effects is an industry-standard digital post-production program that offers a comprehensive set of 2D and 3D tools for creating graphic animations and effects used in broadcast television, web content, and other video production needs. With this program, you can composite layers in various ways, apply and combine sophisticated visual effects, and enhance presentations, images, or video projects. Through class demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions, this course is designed to teach the essential functions of After Effects to both beginners and those with editing experience. (Class fee includes the course textbook for AE CC.)
