What we’re about
Formed as a place for progressive women to talk politics, share opportunities for activism, and form friendships. We’ve morphed since into something much more. We’ve become a landing place for women seeking to form solid friendships with smart, liberal, women who love learning and want to make a difference AND ALSO want to have FUN! Age is irrelevant - you cannot be too young or too old to share your energy & support.
We will be doing fun social get togethers, such as potluck brunches or dinners, game nights, winery outings, book discussions on culturally relevant topics, and when we get a chance, political activism in the form of writing postcards to get out the vote, political watch parties, marching and protests. Most often our events are members only, but we also include welcome guests or partners for many. We welcome you to come and get your toes wet, to any event you might enjoy. There is no commitment here, just get acquainted and see if we add something to your life that you’ve been needing!
We are here to have fun and laugh and lift each other up, and welcome any and all optimistic women who have a positive outlook on life and are politically well informed (or wish to become more so), and like to color outside the lines. Our greatest success has been in forming strong friendships within the group.
This group is intentionally kept small to encourage really getting to know each other. Must be a resident of Eugene/Springfield and Covid vaccinated to participate & profile photos required.
