FIFO expats

Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) Expats is a group for expats who come to the Netherlands for some or most of the year for work purposes but remain rooted in their 'home country'. Locals and other expats are also welcome to join.

Why? I advocate for bridging the gap between expats and locals. There are many work opportunities but a shortage of accommodation and other services in the Netherlands. Apparently 25% of office jobs here can be done remotely/FIFO. I had admiration for the FIFO workers within my home country, how they spent only 1 week per month at the office but delivered outcomes.

This group will give you the opportunity to discuss different topics, meet other expats, and have a laugh over brunch (and card games!).
