Wild about Wellness Community Online Events

The Wild About Wellness Community Events Online were created to bring together people who are passionate about holistic health and wellness.

Everyone is welcome. An online monthly collaborative relationship-building event for individuals interested in holistic health and wellness. The public is welcome as well as practitioners and coaches, product and service providers. This is a casual & easy-going meetup group and a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people interested in natural wholistic health.

Each monthly event includes a Wild About Wellness Holistic Health Talks segment featuring a member of the Wild about Wellness Community speaking on a subject related to holistic health and wellness.

Join us for an evening and meet our collaborative community of healers, coaches, and practitioners for some sharing, caring, community and connection. We provide an opportunity to connect in small groups and learn about each other, share resources and create meaningful connections.

Board Game Café @ Trillium

Cambridge, ON

Board Game Café @ Trillium

Board Game Café (BGC) is an outreach initiative of Trillium United Church (in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada) that provides a safe and welcoming environment for those who enjoy playing board games.  Board games include classic games (Scrabble, Monopoly, card games, etc.) and newer games (Settlers of Catan, Seven Wonders, Dominion, etc.) We often have some brand new games to try as well and encourage gamers to bring their own games to share with the community. BGC is open to persons 16 and up. Youth (ages 12-15) accompanied by an adult (18 or over) are also welcome.

As you may appreciate, RSVPs on BGC’s Meetup page only capture a small number of the people who attend. For those who are using the RSVP feature on Meetup we thank you. Don’t be put off, however, if the number on any evening is on the smaller side. Some of our best attended evenings have had only a smattering of RSVPs.

BGC can be found at 450 King Street East in Cambridge ON (just east of Eagle St. - entry is on Waterloo Street - look for the BGC sign). For the moment we are only running BGC once a month on the second Friday. We hope to return to a twice a month schedule in the near future. We meet from 7:30 pm to 12:00 am. The location is a safe, well-lit area with plenty of parking on street and in city lots. Check our parking map in the Photo Album section. Entry is $5 at the door (Youth participants are free.)  Regular and specialty coffees and teas are available as well as a selection of snacks for $1-$2. We're wheelchair accessible and are welcoming and inclusive of everyone (we put a special priority on being a hospitable place!) Bring your game-playing friends or come and meet some new ones. See you soon!
