Mississauga Kids Meet Up Group!

This is the NEW Mississauga Kids Events Calendar! In the past we had managed 2 calendars, on on the website and one online.  Sometings made it to one of the pages and not the other... there are only so many hours in a day right? So we've decided to just us the "Meet Up" calendar as our only Events calendar.  We encourage you to join the Meet Up group so you can connect with other Mississauga Families.  But you don't have to. You can just use the calendar to see what's going on in Mississauga.  You are welcome either way.

Membership to the Mississauga Kids Meet Up group is FREE. Some events are free and some events require you to purchase tickets through a third party... please read the event description carefully.

OCCASIONALLY events will have a limit to the number to attend.  You will need to be on the reservation list to get into these events.  Again, please read the event description carefully to avoid being disappointed.

Some of our meet ups are for parents and kids. We often hold meet ups at indoor playgrounds in Mississauga so you can have a chance to connect with other parents while your Mississauga Kids make new friends.  Some of our meet ups are held in the evenings and are meant for parents only. This gives parents a chance to enjoy some adult conversation and interaction.

We are often asked if this group is for women only. The answer is no. However most of our members are women.  Also we do have some grandparents that attend our meet ups!  We don't mind at all if grandparents and other caregivers wish to attend our events. We would like to make it clear that while single parents and both moms and dads are welcome to join, our meet up group is not meant to encourage dating. We're not against dating in general but please do not use this group as a dating website.

Backstory

When I co-founded the KICKSTART Business Community in Malaysia in July 2012, we were aggressively looking for ways to build our community.

It's a scary thing for me to commit to new meet up group in Brampton, and while it might be scary or exciting or overwhelming for you to start a business, we invite you to join this community, look to add value, explore ways to start selling a service, product or idea and, ultimately, move forward with your dreams business, enterprise or project but mostly looking to SHOW UP, STEP UP and GIVE BACK.
