And for providers to provide free/low cost samples. In person meets in Hertfordshire and Bucks, and Beds, including activity tasters of things like meditation, equine therapy, healthy meals, talks from professionals on various men's/women's health and wellbeing topics, fun fitness activities, nature time, art, music, and dancing etc. If you want to try something, or offer something, let us know. This is a positive group for adults.

We are a group of people from various backgrounds within the Chilterns (Buckinghamshire) area who have come together with the intention of making new friends, meeting old friends and sharing in new experiences. The majority of our members have been over 50 years young but we're attracting more and more younger people now.** The group is all about making friends and enjoying a wide variety of social activities together. We currently love having regular quiz nights, meals out, coffee socials, walks, live music, comedy, theatre and cinema trips to name but a few. Berkhamsted and Tring Social welcomes all friends and residents, new and established, to our social group. The aim of our group is to provide our members with opportunities to meet new people with similar interests and to make new friends who want to get out and about in the local area. We offer three walks per week (two midweek and one weekend) in the surrounding countryside. We also offer a range of other events and have a strong commitment to supporting our local community and local events. As well as our regular walks, we also organise film nights, theatre trips, concerts, book club, the wine club, pub nights, meals out etc. We are looking for new, committed hosts with fresh ideas, too, to help our local group grow and develop, offering a range of regular and new events to suit the different interests and tastes of our members. Some events will have a small cost so that the organiser can cover the Meetup subscription fee and other expenses but many events will remain free of charge. As walks are our most regular events, we ask members to donate £1 towards our costs. Hi Everyone, I am new to the area and my little pooch Kiki is missing her doggie friends from home so looking to make a few local friends where she can see some dog faces regularly! And of course, I’d love to meet some locals :) I am going to put up a regular time I go to wades and if anyone is able to join, I’ll be there!

This group is for anyone in and around Chesham, Amersham, High Wycombe, Berkhamstead, Chalfonts, Beaconsfield etc who would like to meet new people just like themselves and hopefully have some fun times out. Your voice is your Superpower!!! Over the last several months, the Leighton Buzzard Speaker Group has asked our attendees: What can we provide to enhance your 'superpower'? Do you wish to feel more confident in front of people? How about getting your point of view across to others? Or do you want to advance your presentation skills in the workplace? We incorporated their ideas to form the core of each meeting. Topics include the best words to convey your thoughts, presentation techniques, networking tips, workplace stress management, professional speaking online, and effective verbal communication methods, among other suggestions. Attendees can practice various speaking methods at each meeting. The meetings are approximately two hours long and take place on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 7:30 p.m. Message us if you would like to attend, and we will send the Zoom details.
