And for providers to provide free/low cost samples. In person meets in Hertfordshire and Bucks, and Beds, including activity tasters of things like meditation, equine therapy, healthy meals, talks from professionals on various men's/women's health and wellbeing topics, fun fitness activities, nature time, art, music, and dancing etc. If you want to try something, or offer something, let us know. This is a positive group for adults.

Meeting Innovators: an online group where people with a passion for making their meetings, workshops and events get together to make meetings more innovative, creative, productive and enjoyable. Meeting innovators is a free group is open to anyone with an interest in making meetings better! It's a great opportunity for meeting organisers, leaders, facilitators in fact anyone who arranges and runs meetings, gatherings, conferences and events to meet together for networking, learning and mutual support.

This is the group for anyone who wants to meet in relaxed circumstances with friendly people and enjoy themselves. We will have a range of social activities organised by members who, themselves, want to increase their circle of friends and have fun. Activities can include meals out, cinema, theatre, crafts, bars, walks - pretty much anything our members would like to do (as long as it's legal! 😀).

We will ask for your ideas - it's a group for everyone!

Members will be asked to pay a small fee which will be used to cover the cost of hosting the group on Meet Up.  This is currently £3 renewable each June.  Details of our PayPal account will be sent in your welcome email.

We are a group of people from various backgrounds within the Chilterns (Buckinghamshire) area who have come together with the intention of making new friends, meeting old friends and sharing in new experiences. Meet other local Sci-Fi/Fantasy Fans from Aylesbury Oxford and the nearby area. A groups started for fans of genre books, shows and films to get togeather and chat and socialise. If you are going to come RSVP - It helps others have a better idea of how many of us there are. Generally 14 - 16 attendees every month !!

Berkhamsted and Tring Social welcomes all friends and residents, new and established, to our social group. The aim of our group is to provide our members with opportunities to meet new people with similar interests and to make new friends who want to get out and about in the local area. We offer three walks per week (two midweek and one weekend) in the surrounding countryside. We also offer a range of other events and have a strong commitment to supporting our local community and local events. As well as our regular walks, we also organise film nights, theatre trips, concerts, book club, the wine club, pub nights, meals out etc. We are looking for new, committed hosts with fresh ideas, too, to help our local group grow and develop, offering a range of regular and new events to suit the different interests and tastes of our members. Some events will have a small cost so that the organiser can cover the Meetup subscription fee and other expenses but many events will remain free of charge. As walks are our most regular events, we ask members to donate £1 towards our costs. Encore: Theatre and Events for Friends to Enjoy is a friendly and sociable not for profit group, primarily based around South Bucks, Gerrards Cross, Chalfonts, Amersham, Chesham and surrounding areas. However, if you don’t live in that area you can still request to join if able to travel to and from events. If you are looking for new friends and things to do why not give us a try? Theatre has always been a key aspect of our group and we have been to numerous performances over the years since the group started in June 2016. Apart from Theatre our events can be anything from comedy nights, party breaks, quiz nights, outings, music nights, cinema, meals out, walks, guided tours, picnics, informal parties etc. The extent and number of events will depend on what people are prepared to offer to the group. The organisers are not able to do everything so we are particularly interested in new members who are able to host and organise events. Please be aware no transport is provided so you make your own way to and from the event venues. We appreciate not everyone is comfortable with uploading a face photo but this is a requirement for acceptance for new members as it does help with identification when meeting up for events. We charge an annual subscription fee to the group and you will be advised of the account details to send payments for chargeable events etc. It's £8 for single membership and £16 for a plus-one membership. Paypal payments are not accepted as they charge a fee. Encore: Theatre and Events for Friends to Enjoy is a Closed Group (acceptance for membership is at the discretion of organisers subject to availability). If accepted you will be encouraged to attend at least one event every year (but hopefully you will want to join us at many more). Current members can also recommend people to join the group. This group was started to create a great community in the Bucks and Berks areas. Attending our events is a great way to make new sociable friends and to maybe even meet that someone special along the way if you're currently single. However the events are open to everyone and you don't need to be single to join. We are happy for you to also become an organiser and post a get together wherever you might live in Bucks or Berks. We look after and seek to enhance the waterways that run from the Thames at Cookham, through Maidenhead town centre and back into the Thames at Bray. These waterways were drainage ditches and channels which we have restored to vibrant living waterways. The waterway supports biodiversity and wildlife and can be paddled in kayaks and canoes. Our work is done by volunteers. In autumn and winter we clear blockages from the ditches and streams in Cookham to keep the water flowing. Through the year we do maintenance, repairs and litter picks. We are also working with partners to enhance biodiversity along the waterway. This summer we will be organising activities on York Stream to encourage people to get on the water in a canoe or kayak. If you would like to help please join us!
