Westcountry Friends Social Group
**HELLO** Thank you for taking a look at our group 🙂 The group hosts events mainly in Plymouth, Exeter, South Devon, as well as in Cornwall Dorset, Somerset and further afield for special events during the year.🌳 A warm and friendly inclusive group for anyone and everyone who would like to meet up for friendship, fun, laughter and companionship.😆 Meetup was a fantastic idea that started in America in June 2002 after 9/11 to bring communities together. You can find out more here.... [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meetup](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meetup) Whatever your circumstances whether you've recently moved to the area, or that your social life just needs a boost then please join us.🙂 Nikki started the group in April 2019 to make friends and get out and about a little more with her dog. Since then it's grown and together we aim to provide a wide range of events for everyone to enjoy.🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ We tend to keep the events to a limited number of people, with the exception of a few such as walks, to allow good conversation and so it's not quite so daunting. There might be the odd exception to this but generally we have found from member feedback people prefer smaller groups.🙂 **WHAT WE DO** Some of the things we do are walks around our beautiful local area, National Trust houses and gardens, meals just about everywhere and at all times of the day too!. Coffee mornings, cinema and theatre trips, days out to places of interest, historic tours, live music. visiting fares and exhibitions, organised boat trips. escape rooms, outdoor pursuits, spa days, bowling, themed weekends, kayakjng etc. Ideas are most welcome and appreciated. We always listen to our members and do our very best to include your suggestions. We like trying out new things and visiting new places.🌳⛵ Members expect to be treated with respect and kindness. Inconsiderate behaviour, racism, sexism, ageism, extremist views ,unkind behaviour or gossiping will not be tolerated.😊 This group is not a dating site! We understand that a romantic interest may evolve between members which is absolutely great but the purpose of the group is for friendship and companionship. Anyone who hassles another member or or if a member reports unwanted/ inappropriate behaviour they will be removed from the group♥️ Please keep RSVPs up to date, this is especially important with regards to table bookings etc and is curteous, thank you.👍 **HEALTH AND SAFETY** Everyone is responsible for their own health and safety when attending events as well as your own dogs when applicable. Event organisers are hosting social events for friends and do not hold any qualifications or liability insurance. We do our best to describe the events as best as we can for you to judge if they are suitable for your ability but you are responsible for your own health and safety. All walks are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled by the host. This is for your safety.⚕️ First time? Don't worry, we know what it's like coming along for the first time, feeling a little anxious but you will always receive a warm welcome. The host will always meet you beforehand so you don't need to walk in anywhere on your own.🙂👍 **DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS** These are required to be paid at the same time as putting your name down (as long as you're on the 'going list, not needed if on the 'waiting list') Needed to secure your place as venues often require a deposit and tickets for shows and activities are purchased on your behalf, therefore if you put your name down please pay into the account stated on the event page, thank you. This helps the smooth running of the group and the sanity of the organisers! Some meals need a pre order too. This will always be stated in the event description.👍 **HOW TO JOIN** This is an adult only social group. You are eligible to join if you are 21 years old or over. Members are respectively reminded that children are unable to accompany members to events. It would be appreciated if you could have a photo of yourself on your profile to help organisers recognise you when attending events.📸 We also have a Facebook group where we can share events, ideas videos etc.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/3098134913553086 We look forward to welcoming you soon from Nikki and all at Westcountry Friends Social Group 🌳⛵☀️🙂

Plymouth 20s and 30s Social Group
**About Us** This group is aimed at people in their 20’s and 30’s in (or around) Plymouth who want to meet new, like-minded people and make some connections. We know it can be hard to find things to do for our age group and a lot of meetup groups tend to cater to an older crowd so we thought it would be nice to have something for us youngsters 😁. We will be organising regular events such as Brunches, Board Game Nights, Walks, After Work Drinks and Pub Events and we are always open to new suggestions so just let us know what you would like to see! Insta: [plymsocials2030](https://www.instagram.com/plymsocials2030) \-\-\- **DONATE TO THE 20’s & 30’s SOCIAL GROUP:** I pay a 6 monthly fee to renew our Meetup ‘license’, the price of the license is determined by meetup themselves and is based on the number of members that we have. Because of this I have set up the PayPal link below which you can use to donate to the group and help us cover those costs. [20's & 30's Social Group PayPal Link](https://paypal.me/2030socialgroup?country.x=GB&locale.x=en_GB) I appreciate and thank you for any donations made but remember it's voluntary, your membership to this group is completely free. **This is an independent PayPal account meaning your money will never be placed into anybody’s personal bank account and will only be used for group related expenses.** \-\-\- **RULES OF OUR GROUP:** Please read the following rules, we want to make sure you and everyone else enjoys their time with us and abiding by these rules will be a great help towards achieving that. * Please be respectful to, and mindful of, each other. Behaviours such as bullying, harassment, discrimination etc. are unacceptable and will be dealt with accordingly. * If a member is experiencing any of these issues, then please contact the event organiser or myself so we can help. * All members to have a clear profile picture and full first name (We need to know that you’re a real person!). * Members will be expected to keep their RSVP updated. If you cannot attend, please update us or you will be recorded as a ‘No Show’. * Members are allowed to bring one guest to limited-space events and can bring more for events with no limit. * The member is responsible for informing the guest of our group rules as well as keeping their RSVP updated. We operate on a three-strike rule and any member that gets three strikes will be removed. For serious incidents we reserve the right to remove members immediately. Again, these rules are in place to ensure everyone is safe, comfortable and having fun so thank you for reading them 😁 Congratulations, you've reached the bottom of our homepage! ✪ Plymouth Wiccans

✪ Plymouth Wiccans
The Wiccan Federation is a straightforward first port of call for those who are interested in Wicca. It  is one of the major forces within the Wiccan tradition in this country. This group is for Wiccans in Plymouth. The close location of Dartmoor means that Wiccan Federation members from outside Devon visit the area for meetings. 1. To allow Wiccans to connect with like minded individuals through our network of Watsapp groups. 2. To offer training online through the 13 Knots course, and face to face training for those who progress to joining a coven. 3. To allow members to meet like minded individuals who are interested in the tradituon in pub and coffee shop based meetings in London and through Zoom conferencing for members around the UK 4. To provide a way for individuals to join a Wiccan coven, facilitating the practice of Wiccan rites. 5. To allow those interested in Wicca to meet with others interested on a national basis particularly on Dartmoor. 6. To provide access to written material on Wicca that is written from the perspective of those practicing in a coven setting to ensure that new members understand how experienced Wiccans practice. The group provides a straightforward access point to the Wiccan tradition and we are dedicated to facilitating access to initiatory coven Wicca for all seekers. The Wiccan Federation Website is below www.wiccanfederation.net You can join the Wiccan Federation via this site if you wish to be connected with our local Whatsapp group. Our Order website is below [http://ootham.wordpress.com](http://ootham.wordpress.com/) ([http://ootham.wordpress.com/](http://ootham.wordpress.com/)) We also run a major Wicca website at [http://www.wicca.org.uk](http://www.wicca.org.uk/) ([http://www.wicca.org.uk/](http://www.wicca.org.uk/)) The Wiccan Federation and its associated covens also hold a number of events not on meetup which are for the members associated with the covens. Although the covens are spiritual groups they are also groups of friends and hold their own gatherings. We try to avoid bringing members to events in private houses who are unknown to our network unless they are with a friend we know. Additionally we are a group for Wiccans. Our focus is on those seeking to join the Wiccan path. The group is also limited to the over 21s. We have special arrangements for those who are 20.
