Unacceptable/inconsiderate behaviour, inappropriate messaging, racism, sexism, ageism, extremist views or gossiping will not be tolerated! Members who persistently sign up for events and then withdraw will have their membership withdrawn. Three no shows without changing your RSVP will also result in your membership being withdrawn. Welcome to Beer & Board Games Paignton. A new adult board game group in Paignton. This is a group for beginners only to introduce them to modern board games. Certainly everyone has played Monopoly, Chess, Scrabble, Cluedo, but there are literally thousands of newer games that are amazing! We meet at the Kirkham Social Club - in our own private function room - every Wednesday evening. 6.30pm - 10pm Games are brought along by the organiser who will happily explain the rules and teach the games. Everyone will be new and in the same proverbial boat. Pop down and give it a go! Break up the working week by meeting new people, have fun, good conversation and lots of laughs. This group is for anyone wanting to learn guitar in a supportive environment, make new friends, watch live music, draw, sketch, socialise, go for food and go for short walks in nature. The guitar tuition is £10. The walks are free and won't be too strenuous and will last about an hour. You’ll surprise yourself with what you will learn from your first guitar lesson. This is a group for those in their 20's & 30's based in Newton Abbot and the surrounding area (Bovey Tracey, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Ashburton, Buckfastleigh etc.) to meet new people, enjoy fun activities and experience more of what their area has to offer. Newton Abbot 20's and 30's hosted their first event in 2018 and has since put on events ranging from pub quizzes and walks to drinks events - and even goat yoga... The COVID pandemic saw things slow down for a couple of years, but the group is now looking forward once more, searching for a diverse range of activities to offer and aiming to serve the local community to its fullest potential. The majority of our events are held in and around the Newton Abbot area (including the neighbouring towns mentioned above), but we also look to make use of the wider Teignbridge area, and further afield where possible, to be able to offer new and exciting events. Hey everyone, This is a group for likeminded people in their 20's and 30's, but if that strays a bit, we are not checking. Our values are what is most important (see further below). The area we organise activities within stretches from Exmouth, up to Exeter, and back along the coast to Torbay. Our organisers are located throughout these areas to take advantage of local knowledge and to help build a local presence. Sometimes, we may venture outside our home area however for daytrips further afield! The types of activities we do typically include: walking, cycling, water based, picnics, beach days, and more.
