With so many places to eat, drink and be merry in Brighton & Hove, we have created a Group to make full use of what the City has to offer. We aim to bring together people with interesting conversation at events with good food, washed down with wine or other drinks, in pubs, restaurants and even some pop up places around town. Our members tend to be aged 40+ but age is not the driver. Membership is free with no event fees, as this is NOT money making activity. As you would expect, you pay for what you consume at each event. The Organiser retains the right to determine the membership of this Group. An informal monthly meet up for those working in groups, projects, and organisations, however big or small, that provide specific support, services or benefit for individuals within the LGBTQ+ communities in Brighton & Hove. No agenda, no speeches or talks, just good coffee (other beverages are available), cake ( other food and savoury snacks also available) and the opportunity to meet up with other services and service providers. There may even be some entertainment. The regular meet ups will be arranged for the **third Friday of each month, from 5pm to 7pm.** **We just ask three things:** * Please wear a name badge with your name and which project/organisation/group that you´re involved with (we will have badges for you) * Please speak to at least one other person that you don´t already know ( and more if possible) * Please, if you or your organisation can afford it, donate £5 toward The Ledward Centre running costs

Eastbourne Ladies and Gents Who Lunch A Meetup Membership Group to get together for activities in the Eastbourne area and beyond; coffee mornings, lunches, cinema, day trips, charity events, afternoon teas and other social activities and anything else that looks like fun. We have a rule, and that is to treat people with respect in all ways and at all events. One of the ways to do this is, if you say you are going to attend an event and then find you can't, please change your RSVP giving us as much notice as possible. We would expect at least 24 hours notice. Those who do not to do this, will be marked down as a "no-show". After 3 or more "no-shows" they will be removed from the group, or earlier if there is a waitlist, at the discretion of the Organiser. We have a good relationship with our venue managers/owners and this is in breach should the numbers be constantly changed by no-shows after giving final numbers to them, hence our rule.

South Downs Midweek Walks Via Public Transport

I moved to Seaford five years ago and enjoy walking with my dog Benjamin in the beautiful Sussex countryside with its picturesque villages, rolling hills, ancient woodland, rich wildlife, majestic coastline, and of course the iconic Seven Sisters chalk cliffs. To me, South Downs respresents English countryside at its best and I would like to share our wonderful time in this special place with others.

The walks will be :

*on Tuesday or Wednesday

*accessible via public transport

*between 4 to 8 miles

*slow pace

* ALL AGES WELCOME (need certain fitness because of the hilly landscape)

*ALL DOGS WELCOME (my dog is blind, he is very friendly but can get insecure and nervous if his new friends are too passionate about life. He will be on lead most of the time.)

Please note:

*it is lovely to make new friends and have great conversations. Yet it is also perfectly fine if you want to be quiet and just want to have a day out in nature.

*walks cover attractive hiking routes but might spend time in lovely villages, museums, castles or any tourist attractions.
