Meeting Innovators: an online group where people with a passion for making their meetings, workshops and events get together to make meetings more innovative, creative, productive and enjoyable. Meeting innovators is a free group is open to anyone with an interest in making meetings better! It's a great opportunity for meeting organisers, leaders, facilitators in fact anyone who arranges and runs meetings, gatherings, conferences and events to meet together for networking, learning and mutual support.

This is the group for anyone who wants to meet in relaxed circumstances with friendly people and enjoy themselves. We will have a range of social activities organised by members who, themselves, want to increase their circle of friends and have fun. Activities can include meals out, cinema, theatre, crafts, bars, walks - pretty much anything our members would like to do (as long as it's legal! 😀).

We will ask for your ideas - it's a group for everyone!

Members will be asked to pay a small fee which will be used to cover the cost of hosting the group on Meet Up.  This is currently £3 renewable each June.  Details of our PayPal account will be sent in your welcome email.

We are a group of people from various backgrounds within the Chilterns (Buckinghamshire) area who have come together with the intention of making new friends, meeting old friends and sharing in new experiences. All adults welcome to the group. So if you'd like to make new friends and hang out with existing friends, then please do sign up.

Welcome to all you socialites that just want to have fun and enjoy life. This is a highly sociable group, run by the members for the members with activities that you want not what a committee want. Events will include live music, tribute bands, dancing, cinema, theatre, ten pin bowling, walks, NT visits, meals, pubs, wine bars, festivals - but hey tell us what you want and we will do our best to do it - think you might have got that message by now 🤣. The group is for anyone but I suspect most members will be aged late 40's to early 70's but hey if your sociable and like to have fun then you're welcome. Geographically most events are likely to be in and around Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and maybe some of Wiltshire too but if you're willing to do a bit of traveling your welcome. You can join for absolutely free and get up to three months free to try us out and see if it's for you After that subs will be due from January 2023 and are yet to be decided but will be less than half of other similar groups and we are likely to have twice as many events. What else could you possibly want, so hit the join button.

This group will have a mixture of social events and activities throughout each year. We will look for events in Didcot that we believe suit the Meetup culture, as well as do additional activities, such as pub quizzes. There will also be a monthly evening social event taking part in a pub in Didcot. **Questions and answers** **Who is this group for?** There is no set criteria to who this group is for. We have a mixture of people who are new to Didcot, as well as people ready to start finding a new friend cycle. Anyone is welcome. **What can I expect from the organisers?** Apart from setting events up, we attend for the same reasons as you - to connect and make friends! Whilst we do our best to make everyone feel welcome, please remember we are not a business and are attending to take part in the event organised just as much as you are. **What's the goals of this group?** We want members to find like minded people and develop their own social lives. The Meetup events organised are your opportunity to do this. Additionally, we have a WhatsApp Community, which we aim to grow and give members the opportunity to organise additional activities themselves! **How much does attending cost?** Unless there are tickets required for a public event, we never charge members who attend. However, despite being a group that does not aim to make a profit, we cannot hide from the fact it costs the group £200 per year to run. Because of this, we will ask for donations to fund this. However, we do not make this mandatory and the amount you donate (if anything) is completely optional. **Can I join the WhatsApp Community?** Members who attend regularly are welcome to join the community, as long as they agree to the policies of the group. Please speak to Kevin if you are interested in joining. **Group Rules** These are the policies in place for the group: **1) Be respectful of others.** You are going to meet a diverse range of people, so there are bound to be individuals you don't click with. Rather than make an argument with them, just accept you are different. **2) Make sure you correctly update your attending status.** Not knowing the correct number of attendees can have a negative impact on the event taking place. All it takes is a quick tap on your phone to update your status. **3) Do not turn up for events you have not signed up for.** This can potentially lead to difficulties in hosting an event. We don't want to find a member who shows up for pizza, but there is no space on the table! **4) Do not advertise your own activities in the group comments.** Whilst we are happy to see additional events, they must apply to the groups structure. If you want to advertise any of your events, contact Kevin. **5) Do not take control of events hosted.** The organisers already have a plan for the event they are hosting. To prevent any difficulties, respect what the organisers have set up for you. Members are welcome to organise additional activities once the event is over. **6) Appreciate what the organisers do.** Please remember that all the organisers in the group are hosting events on a voluntary basis. Mix Friends Club is a social club and welcomes All to meet new people, socialise and make new friends.

Our sports activities include playing sports like badminton, squash, lawn tennis, billiards, snooker, aerobics, cycling, cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, bicycling, walking, board  games, cards, poker, chess, skittles, kayaking, canoeing and many more.

Our social activities include night outs, eating outs, clubbing, pub nights, live music, cinema, theatre, cycling, bike rides, picnic and we welcome all ideas.

Creative ideas in all fields are well received like photography, music - ology,  graphic arts, cartooning, performing arts, galleries, museums, film and publishing. If you have skills, knowledge or keen interest, feel free to invite others to know, learn more and grow their knowledge with you.

Just get involved, give ideas and organise your own events as well. Also, you are welcome to bring any number of your friends along with you.

I have been in Oxfordshire for nearly 3 years, relocated during Covid but never got a chance to explore much, make new friends and socialise! Hi! We're Coffee and a Natter and we host casual meetups where we chat over a drink at cafés around Oxford. This group is aimed mainly at young professionals who are new to the area, or just looking to make new friends. We normally meet up on Saturday or Sunday mornings, although occasionally we will organise something on an afternoon! We try to support local cafés when we meetup and aim to be a friendly group to all newcomers! This group for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community whose identity includes woman. We’re a friendly bunch who like to get together and try new things and have a good natter with friends.  We are open to singles and couples who enjoy socialising and meeting other women. The English Conversation Café is a weekly opportunity for you to meet new people from around the world in person and to practise your English skills in a relaxed, informal environment. The café is hosted by a small team of volunteers and entrance is free. We meet every Tuesday evening 18.30-20.00 at St Aldates Church Centre. Drinks and snacks are available. This is followed by a relaxed English lesson taken by one of our volunteers. A dinner club for men and women aged 55 and upwards. Venue to be chosen by organisers but we do welcome suggestions for future dinners. This is a social get together and hope we will have fun and make new friends.

Regular weekly Tag Rugby Matches on a Monday in Reading Sonning at Reading RFC and on a Thursday in Reading at Christchurch Meadows in the Spring and Summer months starting in April. In the Autumn and Winter months, we play out of South Reading Leisure Centre on a Monday and Reading RFC on a Thursday. The fun and friendly sessions are welcome for players 14 years or older. **All under 18 participants must be accompanied by a guardian.** Players of all sporting abilities and Rugby experience levels (Rugby League, Rugby Union, Touch Rugby etc) including complete Rugby novices are welcome! Tag Rugby is a great way to meet new people, improve your fitness and mental wellbeing, but there is no need to be super fit to start playing. The sessions are a gentle introduction to the game and suitable for all levels of fitness. At times when there are no free tasters open for registration or none suitable for you, we can potentially arrange a free trial game for you in a league.
