NEW GIRLS NEXT DOOR — London
**UPDATE: Our meetup group now has a private group chat where we do friendship meetups every weekday evening and brunches every weekend. Message me (the organiser) to be added!** **Welcome to KISMEET SOUTH LONDON!** This is the home of the South London & Streatham chapter. Are you interested in a drama free group intended to bring women in their 20's-40's together to make meaningful friendships with other amazing women in South London? Always in London in a relaxed environment without any pressure, where both introverts and extroverts are welcomed. You will make lifelong gurlfriends here because we host regular daily and weekly hangouts, as well as enjoy all the fun London has to offer. Suggestions for hangouts are always welcomed and encouraged. As always, feel free to RSVP to anything that peeks your interest! 👩🏿‍🤝‍👩🏼❤️ **Who is welcome to join?** * Aimed at 20-40s gals * All races/backgrounds/sexual orientation welcome, this is an inclusive group! * Those serious about meeting new people and developing new, genuine friendships here in London. (If you are going to join and not interact then this is not the group for you and you WILL be removed after 30 days of inactivity) * People with good vibes + energy only (there is enough negativity in the world already) **Our Ethos -** We want everyone to contribute to the magic and joy of this group, and this involves turning up to the events you RSVP to. Showing up is a commitment we want everyone to make, as this helps the organisers never waste any spaces booked, helps the attendees meet more new people, and most importantly it help you fulfil the commitment you made to yourself to meet nice new friends in town! ***NO SOLICITING MEMBERS, NO EXCEPTIONS. This group is for meaningful friendships and quality time amongst women in London.*** **NO SHOW POLICY –** We take time to thoughtfully organise each hangout for your full enjoyment, therefore we encourage you to turn up to everything that you RSVP to. All attendance is monitored. TWO missed events will be marked as 'no-shows', and a polite reminder will be sent to you. If you do not show up THREE times when you have RSVP'd as "Yes" without sending a message and changing your RSVP, you will be automatically removed from the group. It's important you RSVP to things you can attend to, and change your RSVP in good time if other plans come up. Please do this so we can offer your spot to someone else if you decide not to attend. This rule applies to last minute drop outs (UNDER 48hrs) without a message too. This is to make sure that we never waste any spaces and include more people who want to participate and enjoy meeting each other. So be kind to your fellow gurlfriend who would love to take your spot at the table. **PAYMENT -** Please note, running this group is not free and organisers are charged by the Meetup.com platform very high fees even though we volunteer to run the group. Therefore we charge either a small membership dues or a £2 per gathering as a small commitment from you to attend. Organisers put a lot of their own free time and effort into researching, sourcing, booking, arranging and hosting gatherings for you to enjoy. If we have to cancel for any reason, then you'll of course always get your dosh back! **WAITLIST -** Please be aware that we currently offer a waitlist for everything, but keep in mind all gatherings are first come first serve. So when you see something announced, check your diary to see if you're free and RSVP right away. **SAFETY AND COURTESY -** We want everyone to have a fun and safe time when attending our gatherings, and we want our organisers to communicate with attendees about event updates with confidence that they will be treated with respect - therefore we follow Meetup's policy on safety strictly. We do not tolerate any abusive language towards anyone in this group. Any members found to be harassing/insulting/threatening/bullying any member of this group will be removed immediately and the ban will be permanent. Lastly, please also have a decent headshot as your profile photo...sometimes we meet in crowded venues and it's helpful for your future new friends to know who they're looking for if you're new to the group. Also helpful for you too so you can see who you're looking for! Membership will be politely declined if you chose a random landscape or cute cartoon as your headshot. SOCIAL MEDIA Our Instagram handle is @kismeetgirl Please follow. All the ladies love taking pictures at events. If you do not want your picture uploaded please let the organiser know. 💕

How to make stress your friend-The Growth Mindset-TGM

Beckenham, N7

How to make stress your friend-The Growth Mindset-TGM
This is a free online event, and we'll send the link to those who sign up on Meetup and RSVP. Our goal is to create a supportive community for adults to share their life experiences. This space allows you to offload and process challenges while receiving support from others facing similar situations. The most valuable resource in building healthy individuals and communities is the people themselves. Group work fosters positive interaction and meaningful contributions. Sessions include self-help groups and mindset webinars, so keep an eye on the Meetup page for updates. Our sessions focus on stress management and self-regulation, helping participants discover healthy coping mechanisms for life's stressors. While some stress is natural, it can sometimes overwhelm other healthy emotions. We aim to help you find balance and resilience. I am a stress management and mindfulness therapist, mindset coach, and mental health social worker by background. **Meetup Info:** * **Cost:** Free * **Duration:** Up to 90 minutes For inquiries, please message me on the Meetup page or email tony.depalmas@outlook.it. I also offer one-on-one online sessions; feel free to email me to discuss prices, structure, and delivery. ***Please try to arrive on time for the start of the lesson.*** **Sensitive Subject Area:** The group sessions are delivered by an experienced and trained therapist, but they are not specifically designed to treat mental health problems, nor are they a therapy or support group. Please join this course only if you feel it is safe to do so. It is best to consult your GP or therapist if you need mental health support. The aim is to keep everyone safe. If you are unsure about anything, please contact me to discuss it.\*\*\* Tony De Palmas Mental Health Social Worker \| Stress Management Therapist \| Health and Mindset Coach United Kingdom tony\.depalmas@outlook\.it \| \(0044\) 07852734126

Sapphic Socials (Lesbian, Bi & Queer female Meet-Ups)

London, 17

Sapphic Socials (Lesbian, Bi & Queer female Meet-Ups)
\*\* This is a women’s group aimed at women who love women. If you are a Lesbian, Gay, Queer, Bi-sexual female wanting to meet, hang out and mingle with the like-minded, this is the group for you \*\* Welcome to our group that has formed and absolutely flourished since the lifting of the Covid lockdowns. It's fledging group comparative to the other Lesbian meet-ups out there, but our ever increasing membership already at nearly 4000 is testament to our popularity. We quickly grew a reputation for putting on well organised events (Quality over quantity we say). We are told over and over that we are the most fun, friendliest and warmest 'Lesbian and Queer women Meet-up' out there on the London scene. We were the first to explore alternative ways to socialise which has inspired many of the longer running meet-ups to take our approach in their own groups. Our events are wide and varied, from sporty to theatre to walks and dinners, go-karting, kayaking, parties and anything in between. There’s bound to be something you’ll enjoy. Fun is the focus though at the same as time trying to build a supportive community where long lasting connections are formed. So far, so good in that department. 100's, perhaps 1000's of friendships (as well as romantic relationships) have been formed through our events, which is very heart-warming. Don’t worry about coming alone or being new as at any one time there are often more newbies than regular attendees. Event type permitting, we will ask the newbies to come for the first hour to get acquainted with other newbies. We don't use the meet-up to build an audience for future paying events. We are one Lesbian group that is totally 'not for profit' . Everything is voluntary (often at a cost to the organiser). We are simply about bringing the community together and supporting community events in a world where this is so little for girls like us. We like to support Lesbian mums so kids are welcome where appropriate, as well as allies and our furry family members.  We also like to support new ventures by women where we can, e.g. new nights, new businesses. Sadly this is not as common as you would think in our small community. The larger longer running groups have been relentless in trying to quash and copy this new girl on the block for 2.5 years. I know right?! Thankfully, the organisers of this group have stood firm and here we are stronger than ever and growing. Lastly, if you see a large number of people signed up don’t be put off. The nature of meet-up means that many won’t attend on the day. This is also why we ask you to come earlier.   **Meet-up Notifications:** Please ensure your notifications are kept on when signing up for an event and that you attends events you sign-up for, else please change your RSVP - just as you would any other event you planned to attend.   **Membership is at the organisers discretion:** This is a meet-up group created for likeminded lesbian/bi-sexual/queer women to meet. Therefore we may decline membership requests that don’t meet our criteria. This is our meet-up right to do so. It is voluntary organisation.   **The organisers of this group do not profit from any event** \- quite the opposite\, fees and many costs are incurred by the organiser\. They host and organise in their own time in order bring the community together\. Any fee paid for a ticket will be the price set by the vendor\. For meals\, you will only pay for what you have\.   **Disclaimer:** All activities are participated in at your own risk. Organisers are not liable for any accidents or misfortune that may occur.   That’s the boring stuff over with. See you at an event soon 🌈👭💖 So don’t delay, sign up and come along to one of our events asap!   Look forward to meeting you!
