I quit my job months back. With a bit of financial independence, I decided not to find a new job in the near future. As I have plenty of time, I want to go traveling. I'm not into solo travel, which I had tried before but it really wasn't my thing. I have tried finding travel companions by surfing the Internet but it's in vain coz scammers were ubiquitous. Now I'm going to try it here coz people in here I think are benign and genuine (hopefully :))! I know that it can be challenging finding good travel buddies even among friends, let alone with strangers, but if you don't try you will never know! I think people who aren’t too fussy are more likely to be good travel buddies (but it's easier said than done though :)). I am organizing this group to gather the like-minded people together. If you're one of them, please join! I will organize some events for us to get to know each other first. Later we may plan together some short trips to China or nearby countries on weekdays or weekends and subsequent longer trips. Helping people go sea kayaking without the need to buy expensive equipment before they're sure they want to do more. 

How to join us:

We've established a 'kayaking essentials' session; a set of skills every member of the group has to have before they are able to join us in open water. These skills include basic self and assisted rescue skills, paddle technique, and safety policies and procedures. You must attend an essentials course before joining us on any sea kayak trips. 

Trips range from beginner, intermediate, and advanced day tours on weekends, midweek eskimo roll sessions, and overnight expeditions.
