Meet new friends groups near Monroe, CT

This group is for social people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s throughout New Haven and Fairfield County who are interested in meeting new friends, hanging out, and sharing fun experiences. Happy hours, vineyards, breweries, museums, outdoor activities, and much more!

This group is for anyone who enjoys kayaking or paddleboard and doesn't want to go it alone. All experience levels welcome and beginners encouraged to join.

No matter what your life is like; single, married, kids, no kids, we all need our friends. Many of us would like to widen our circle of friends and this is a great way to do it! We'd like to organize a wide variety of events; book discussions, knitting, crocheting, crafts, hiking, shopping, movies, - you name it, let's do it!

Most of our members range in age from 30's to 50's but all ages are welcome!

To be respectful of each other, we ask that if you RSVP 'yes' to an event, you do attend. If your plans change and you can't make it, please change your RSVP as far in advance as possible. Some of our events are small and we need to make sure everyone who wants to attend has a chance to do so. We would like 5 or more people to attend events. If a meetup shows little interest it may be canceled.

We'd also like to keep our membership fresh and current. If you have not attended an event, or expressed serious interest in attending but have scheduling conflicts, within one month of joining, we will remove you from the group - but you are certainly welcome to re-join when you are able to participate.

We require that you have attended an event in a public setting before you RSVP 'yes' to one in a private home. This is for everyone's safety. Let's face it, we're meeting through the internet and need to be cautious. We'll try to have enough public events so this won't become an issue.

For active 60+ folks who want to join in social actives to stay connected.

Want to walk, hike, go out to events together such as dining, theatre, films or lectures.

So any male or female who need a group designed just for them (us) please join, and bring your ideas, wishes and needs to the table. We can do day trips to local areas; NYC, state parks and the like.

Join a group of like-minded women around the new moon to set intentions, commune over tea, and consciously manifest your best life. I am an intuitive reader and trainee of Chris Maddox, creator of The WILD Woman Project. Working with women is a passion of mine, and I am excited to create a community of conscious women.

Fun, laughter, good music, movement, new friends, the joy of being in a group learning together, come see why square dancing is so much fun. Join us free for the first two lessons. No experience is necessary. You will learn as you dance. Two left feet, no worry. Square dancing is walking to music. Come meet new friends in a safe, alcohol free environment.

Learn the basics of modern square dancing in this 20 week course. The cost is $5 per lesson after the first 2 weeks.

Upon completion, you will receive a diploma that shows you are competent to dance at club dances, jamborees and festivals anywhere in the USA and even in countries such as Sweden, Germany, Japan or the UK.

The course is open to singles and couples of all ages.

Welcome to the Connecticut Chapter of No Kidding!, where people who don't have kids can meet other like-minded people. We started the CT chapter of No Kidding to create a club for child-free couples and singles to meet and enjoy cultural events, hikes, dinners, discussions, BBQs and outdoor events. Who should join? Any child-free couples and singles in CT and the tri-state area who want to meet new and interesting friends!
