Our group is for 55+ singles (men and women), who would like to get together socially for fun and friendship. Events such as dining out, movies, wine tastings, historical tours, picnics, concerts, day trips, etc.; could all be possible outings. Whether you're new to the area or not, it's sometimes hard to meet new people, increase you're social circle or to venture out alone to do something new. Let's come together, find new and interesting things to do and meet new friends to enjoy life with. If you are interested in being a part of this group, helping to host and/or to organize events, please contact me and let's see what we can do!
Each member of our group is requested to contribute $12.00 per year, in order to help defray the costs incurred of the Meetup group website, other expenses, deposits required upfront, space rental, refreshments, etc. Each member has a 60 day trial period to make their contribution. Members who have not paid after 90 days will be removed from our group at the end of the trial period. You will be sent a reminder 7 days before the end of the trial period and again 1 day before your trial expires.
A personal photo is required and short bio on each pending member before approval. Our group is kept private to protect members. All members are expected to conduct themselves appropriately within the positive, friendly spirit of the group, both at events and online. Events are not to be used for personal gain or advertising.
If a member RSVP's 'YES' for ANY event and does not attend, this will be considered a "No Show". A member who has five "No Shows" will be subject to removal from the group. Please be respectful of the Organizers, the venue's personnel and other members to RSVP 'YES' only if you intend to go to the event. If you cannot make an event, please be courteous and change your 'YES' to 'NO'.
