CISMA stands for Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area. There are around 400 CISMAs in many states across the country. We are the Nature Coast CISMA, volunteers and land management professionals trying to protect our natural areas from being consumed by invasive species. We will be leading workdays to improve natural habitat across the local region.

This group is for people who are wanting to grow and learn about living a low tox lifestyle all while making new friends and learning some fun new ways to live and have fun doing so! A place to gather, make new friends, and learn about behavior analysis science and it's use in various industries. Attendees will be treated to coffee and doughnuts and enjoy discovering the role that behavioral science plays in their everyday lives with or without their consent. They will also learn how behavioral data collection, both voluntarily and involuntarily, are used by the government to create public policies and industry laws.

Hi Hikers! The goal for this group is to gather those that enjoy moderate hiking. I plan on having a variety of hiking trails vs rotating monthly. Suggestion of good trails is encouraged. Trail length can be anywhere from 2-10 miles. **What is moderate?** According to Ramblers, the average walking speed for adult hikers is 2.5 miles per hour, without accounting for stops. Other sources, however, quote speeds ranging from 1.5 miles per hour to a sprightly 3.5 miles per hour. We will stay in this range, speed usually depends on the trail and how often we stop for breaks. **There is $10 yearly membership fee after a 14 day trial.** **This is less than a $1 a month for the year.** **What are the benefits of hiking?** Sports medicine physician Matthew Kampert, DO, MS did an interview with Cleveland Clinic and came up with 9 benefits of hiking: 1. If you enjoy learning more about photography, taking fine arts pictures, and viewing those of others, this group is for you. At each monthly meeting, we'll share two or three of our favorites–whether new or the past. We'll also plan and enjoy field trips to events and locations that will be rich for exciting and rewarding images. Amateur and professional, fine arts or photojournalism, landscape or street photographers – all are welcome! The goals of this group are to socialize, learn, and share via photography. Socializing includes friendly discussions about Ocala and nearby places, and understanding how we each see and record photographically. Learning will not stress complicated formulas or how to use digital tools (there are thousands of YouTube/Vimeo videos out there that already do that), but rather understanding how each of us strives to successfully achieve our communications goal through photography. Sharing will take place as we encounter opportunities in our photowalks, events, meetings, commentaries, and guest presentations. Meetings will be moderated by master photographer John Elliott, a professional fine arts, photojournalism, and commercial photographer for 50 years.
