You’ve found the right place. 🪷 I’ve been talking with others who are also interested in partaking of something where we are own best judge of what works for us, we can all be on our own program, not be sold anything nor pushed into anything, but encourage and check in/support one another. I know I’d love to share what has helped me in my longtime health and fitness journey, and maybe get out in nature more. The good news is you don’t have to be local to where the group is founded, nor do you need to have any fancy equipment. Just show up with an attitude of willingness to be open to both listen and speak to what has been working well for you. If you like to journal, you can bring that to jog your memory for discussions. Our first meeting we are going to set some parameters and future topics for discussion, as well as have some icebreakers and get to know everyone.

Dunedin Acoustic Guitar Meet

**YOU MUST RSVP (as well as your guests) as SPACE IS LIMITED to 10 people. Please cancel your RSVP if you are not able to attend so others that are “waitlisted” have the opportunity to attend.** The goal of this Meetup is to be a place where you can, play and sing with other guitarists and musicians, share songs you like, or wrote, and show us how to play, learn new songs and expand your repertoire, offer playing tips to others, gain confidence in your playing/singing. Music will range from Novice to intermediate in difficulty. We will take turns leading songs, but we are a No-Pressure Meet-Up, and you can Play or Pass on your turn. No one expects perfection! Do your songs your way and no need to sound like any recording – just have fun with it! We do have a projector to put music up on a screen, however, if you prefer, I Invite you to bring enough printed lyrics (\~10 copies) and chords to share with others and show your appreciation and encouragement for others' efforts and abilities. If you have a music stand, we recommend you bring it, if not no big deal. Typically a Capo will be required for some songs, so if you have one, bring it. A donation jar will be available. A suggested $3 - $5 donation is requested to help offset the cost of the website and to the Church for the use of the room. Please don't let that stop you from coming and having fun.
