Welcome!

Crosswind Gatherings is a non-denominational Christian ministry. We have been meeting at Siesta Key Beach every weekend since January of 2016. We believe this ministry could expand to many other areas with God's help and your participation. We usually have live musical worship, a Bible based message, awesome prayer, communion, and great fellowship.

Our mission is to connect people with Jesus Christ, connect people with each other, and to connect people to their God given missions. We believe that Jesus Christ is in charge of the church. He wants these things more than we do. We just need to let Him lead. We encourage you to pray and follow God's guidance on getting involved. If God has given you a calling for some kind of ministry, we would love to hear about it and help you any way we can.

We are a very open group. We don't have a lot of religious rules or doctrines. We encourage anyone who is seeking the truth about God to join us. You will be amazed at what you find.

We are also big believers in a concept of Business in Ministry, which means church leaders are also involved in business and aren't completely dependent on the church. So you may see us mention our businesses, but never with any pressure. For example, we usually also have fresh cold brewed coffee at our meetings provided by Vecinos Coffee.

Our lead pastor, Guy Pfanz has a lot of experience building churches and training people in business and ministry. You can read about some of this in his book "Stacking The Deck: What Happens When We Believe God Wants It More Than We Do".

We are a group of believers who come from different Christian backgrounds and we have different perspectives on some things. We all have our own issues, and we are still learning and growing. We simply try to follow Christ's example as best as we can. The good thing is that God brings the perfection ... not us.
