I want to bring young Desi crowd together and host cultural events, go on trips, go Hiking, experience seasonal activities, watch movies, explore more restaurants, and much more. If you recently moved here and willing to make new friends this group is the one!!! I am planning on hosting couple of events weekly so that people get to go out more often. If you actively participate in our meetup events, you will be added to our WhatsApp group which is specially for impromptu plans and hangouts. Group rules: 1. You need to attend atleast 1 event in the first 2 months after joining the group. 2. Be respectful to all the members of the group. Indecency or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated 3. Please answer all the questions presented to you while joining the group seriously. If you fail to do this you will not be allowed in the group. 4. A profile picture is mandatory to join the group 5. Please do not use this group as a way to slide into girls' dm. If i recieve any such complain, i will have to remove this person from the group 6. Rsvp and no show for consecutive 2 times will result in removal from the group permanently. 7. For every event, if you RSVP and cannot join due to any reason, updating RSVPs accordingly is crucial. Failing to do so will result in removal. Repeating this will result in permanent removal. 8. Non active members ( 1 yr and up) will be removed permanently. 9. The organizers/ hosts are not liable for any injuries or accidents that happen during any of the events scheduled in the meetup.

We are the Offical Libertarian Party of Cobb County. We intened to post both offical county meetings here and to post social gatherings in order to grow the liberty movement in both Cobb county and Georgia.

The Georgia Companion Bird Society (formerly known as The Georgia Cage Bird Society) was formed in 1955, and is a club for devoted parrot & bird owners/lovers. Our meetings are held monthly at the Smyrna Community Center in Smyrna, GA. Our purpose is to bring parrot people together for education, fun, networking and friendship, & as an "ADOPT DON'T SHOP" organization, our focus goal is to support and collaborate with Georgia and other state 501(c)(3) parrot/bird rescues and sanctuaries, and help the hundreds of surrendered or unwanted rescue/sanctuary birds find safe and loving homes.

Our monthly meetings include educational presentations by local Avian Veterinarians as well as various individuals with expertise in specific parrot/bird species. Many of our meetings are social events, but ALL of our meetings are solely for the birds, meaning that your healthy, clipped or harnessed well-mannered feathered kids are welcome to accompany you to the meetings!

Our "birdie" attendees ranges from the tiniest of Finches to the largest of Macaws & every kind of bird in between. In addition to the meetings, we have Spring and Fall bird picnics at Red Top Mountain, field trips, & separately from the club, many of us enjoy "Birds' Brunches or Dinners Out" at various patio restaurants in the Atlanta area.

Born in a time of COVID-19/ Coronavirus, we're a group of beginner fishermen, fisherwomen and anglers desiring to get outside in a way that we learn from each other while having fun outdoors and doing something where we can respect our distance naturally while developing ourselves collectively.  Experienced anglers are welcome as well, too.  We would love to learn from you, and you know how good it is to teach a man or woman to fish.  It's way better and much more satisfying than giving him or her one; you're teaching and learning self-reliance.

There's no need to be an expert in anything; we're not out to compete. Just join up and learn from each other and build friendships online and outdoors. For the outdoors part, you'll need your rod, real and tackle, and a Georgia fishing license. You can get them for $15 from Walmart or Bass Pro Shops, etc. (Georgia Residents). No training needed.

Remember to bring your masks (balaclavas work well too!). Let's have fun and learn how to harvest some fish!  Kayaks, canoes, etc., they're welcome too!.

Learn & explore new places to ride your bike! These rides are $29 each & we max out at 10 people total so please rsvp & pay when you sign up! From 10 miles to 25 miles, depending on who comes! There are SO many places to ride & I would love to show you all of the ones I have found in the area! Typically we go during the late morning & have lunch afterwards so this would be for women with flexible jobs or stay at home moms with kids in school. We also have weekend trips planned so keep looking!! \*\*We plan to have FUN! This is not for speedsters!\*\* I will guide you through the trail enjoying the scenery, stopping for water every few miles & getting a good workout at the same time! I myself have a hybrid that I also use on off road trails so I do not go super fast. I’m planning on having these bike rides every few weeks! The cost is $29 for each bike ride -- after you have done 5, the 6th one is FREE!! Our walks and hikes are in the metro Atlanta area particularly in the West, North West and South West areas.

To keep things simple you are responsible for your own health and safety and not the organizers or event hosts.

We walk as a group for approximately 1 to 2 hours which can be 1-5 miles in distance depending on the terrain e.g. parks or nature trails.

Please wear good walking shoes, and drink water before and after walks. You might also like to bring with you a light weight backpack, a facecloth or small towel (for warm days) and a bottle of water.
