Welcome to the Fayette Co. Bourbon Tasting Meetup! Join us for an evening of sampling fine bourbons while enjoying the company of fellow bourbon enthusiasts. Whether you're a bourbon connoisseur or just looking to try something new, come meet like-minded individuals. The group will meet a minimum of once a month at Hobnob Tavern in Peachtree City. on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and the event starts at 6:30PM. We will also add additional events from time to time at different locations.

Let's face it, meeting good-hearted women such as yourself is hard to come by when you are a busy, independent woman. One of the founding principles of the FUN and FABulous Girlfriends is to give women the opportunity once a month to take a minute for themselves, while enjoying the company of other FUN and FABulous Girlfriends and a bunch of amazing meals along the way with monthly luncheons. We've done Saturday brunch at Copeland's, Corner Cafe in College Park, Longhorn's in McDonough, just to name a few. Please feel free to bring a guest and suggestions are very much appreciated. **Chat & Chews -** Chat & Chews are a great way to get to know our members within a more intimate environment. We'll be in the confines of a member's home and we can relax. Here, we can "let our hair down" and enjoy a wonderful meal & some good old fashioned girl time! **CHAT & CHEWS ARE FOR PAID FAB MEMBERS ONLY. NO GUESTS ARE ALLOWED. Each member brings a bottle of wine and a dish.** For those members that do not consume alcohol, feel free to bring a non alcoholic beverage. We ask that each member attend one other FAB event prior to RSVPing to a Chat & Chew, as we'd like to get to know you before allowing access to a member's home. Certainly, we can all understand that! **Dues** \- FAB dues are $25 per year and used to cover the cost of the Meetup site \(yes\, there is a fee to us to be on meetup\)\, any deposits we need to pay\, Chat & Chew paper goods\, giveaways\, etc\. We will also sponsor events for dues paying members only\. **Trips** \- We have 2 trips per year \- a summer beach trip & a winter mountain trip\. Check the calendar for the details on those trips\. We always have a blast\! That doesn't mean we can't do other trips throughout the year\. We're always open to traveling\! Please feel free to make suggestions\. **HOUSEKEEPING** 1\. No shows will not be tolerated\. 3 no shows will result in your removal from the group\. We put in a great deal of time planning quality events and speaking with restauranteurs\, a lot of which are small businesses who need our support\. Not only does this foster a great relationship with these business owners\, but they use our numbers to bring in extra help \( whom they have to pay\)\. Lets be respectful and change RSVPs at least 48 hours before an event\. Waiting till the last minute is the same as a no show\. 2\. Please adhere to trip payment schedules\. We don't want to hunt you down for you to keep a commitment you signed up for\. E\-m\-b\-a\-r\-a\-s\-s\-i\-n\-g\! 3\. We leave stuff as we found it\. At a Chat & Chew we all assist in returning our hostess's home to the same condition in which we found it\. We don't want her to host & clean up\! Our group is member supported, so please make suggestions for luncheon venues, concerts & plays, cultural events - King Center, wine tastings, happy hours, overnight trips, whatever. Our goal is to bring you quality events while having a ball!

1. **Walk & Talk at Union City Ballpark**\- We will link up at the park on a Saturday morning when the weather is nice and walk the park as a group\. Ladies will get the opportunity to meet other members and connect with likeminded individuals\. (must rsvp in advance) **2\. Flirt/Seductive Dance Class In Heels**\- Have you ever taken a FLIRT dance class before? Well this class includes wine\, champagne cocktail and small appetizers\. You will have fun learning how to dance seductively in heels\. Chairs are also included on certain days\, so come and have some fun\. Ask about ***'’Group Discount"*** (must rsvp in advance)   3. **Zumba/Hip-Hop Workout Class**\- This class will keep you on your toes with excitement from learning a mixer of some Zumba and Hip\-Hop all in one while sweating and enjoying a fun cardio\. \(must rsvp in advance\) **Cardio Class**\- 1 hour of upper and lower body cardio aerobics workout\. This class is for ALL ladies weather working moms or just ladies that likes to stay in shape\. (must rsvp) Participation Guidelines: 1\. You must RSVP and pay in advance \(NOT day of\) 2\. Welcome to a community of mature women! We coordinate/host social activities to help you enjoy and live your best life. We encourage all members to make recommendations for outings and events. We want your participation in this Meetup to be fun and enjoyable. We also offer workshops and life coaching to help women focus on their own selfcare. Remeber, "**It's never too late to get better!**" **Group Protocols:** * All members should check the website for new events monthly. * All women are welcome; however, we are commited to those who "actively" participate. Therefore, our membership **roster is purge quarterly** of women who have not attended an event or visited the site (not the app) within the last 90 days. * There is a **nominal registration fee for all events,** usually $5 - $10 plus the actual cost of the event. This fee helps to offset the cost to maintain the Meetup site ($200 yrly) and the time to research and plan events. It also discourages "no shows." * If you do not wish to pay the fee, please do not join this Meetup. * If you RSVP for an event and do not attend or change your RSVP status before the event, you may be removed from the group. The aforementioned "protocols" have been established to maintain the integrity of our group. Unfortunately, many people join Meetup groups and never attend anything. People also RSVP then "no show" with no regard for the time and effort it takes to plan events. We want to minimize the typed of actions. If you have question, please feel free to DM the host.
