New Lenox, IL

Event: Off-Leash Hotel Tiny Tots Breakfast & Playdate Calling all small dog owners! Join us for a tail-wagging good time at the Off-Leash Hotel Tiny Tots Breakfast & Playdate. We’re inviting our community of dog lovers to bring their tiny furry friends to the back of our facility for a fun-filled morning of play, music, and delicious breakfast treats! Event Details: • Date: [November 9, 2024] • Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM • Location: Off-Leash Hotel (Back of the Facility) • Who’s Invited: Small dogs and their owners • Admission: Free to all Off-Leash Hotel customers What to Expect: This is the perfect event to let your small dog stretch their legs, make new friends, and burn off some energy in a safe, supervised environment. We’ve got a great lineup of activities and amenities planned to ensure a fun experience for both you and your pup: • Supervised Play Area: Our experienced Off-Leash Hotel team will be on hand to keep an eye on the dogs and facilitate a safe and positive environment. Your dog can run, jump, and play with other small dogs while you relax and enjoy the morning. • Pool Time Fun: For those water-loving pups, our dog-friendly pool will be open and ready for splash time! Let your dog dive in, paddle around, or just cool off from the morning sun. Don’t forget to bring a towel if your dog is ready to make a splash! • Music & Vibes: We’ll have lively music playing to set the mood, keeping the energy upbeat and the tails wagging. It’s all about having a joyful and fun atmosphere, making sure everyone—both two-legged and four-legged—has a great time. • Breakfast Treats: What’s a morning meetup without some delicious breakfast? We’ll have a spread of treats for the humans, including coffee, pastries, and fruit to kickstart your day. Plus, we’ll have dog-friendly snacks available, so your tiny tots won’t feel left out! • Compatibility Evaluation: During the event, our team will observe how well your dog plays and socializes with the other pups. Dogs that show positive interaction and friendly behavior will be eligible to join our regular playgroups, and the best part is, this evaluation—normally a $40 service—is completely free for attendees of this event! Why Attend? This event is a wonderful opportunity to socialize your small dog in a fun and controlled setting. It’s a great way to meet other dog owners in the community, share stories, tips, and connect over a shared love for our furry companions. Whether your pup loves to play chase, take a dip in the pool, or just sniff around, there’s something for everyone at the Off-Leash Hotel Tiny Tots Breakfast & Playdate! Who Should Join? This meetup is ideal for small dogs who enjoy socializing and playing with dogs their own size. Whether your pup is a seasoned playtime pro or a bit shy and needs some encouragement, our staff will be there to help facilitate positive interactions. If you’re looking to give your little dog a great time, this event is made just for you! Important Notes: • Please ensure your dog is up-to-date on all mandatory vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella). • All dogs must remain on a leash when entering and exiting the facility. • Pool time is optional, so if your dog isn’t a fan of water, there’s plenty of space to play on dry land! Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on this fun and engaging event for you and your small dog. Let’s create some paw-sitive memories together at Off-Leash Hotel’s Tiny Tots Breakfast & Playdate! We look forward to seeing you there! For more details or to RSVP, please contact us at hello@offleashhotel.com or 815.322.1485

Meet Friends for 20s - 30s

Chicago, IL

Meet Friends for 20s - 30s

Meet Friends is part of MPCEvents, Chicago's largest social group. All our events have 60 - 120 people in attendance, most who are new to the city and many come solo. Find out why we have connected thousands. Be a member for as low as $9.99 a month and go to most of our events for free!

"Peter - I want to say thank you. All my good friends and the love of my life, I have met through your events. Now I have a beautiful baby and it's all because of you!" - Jill

"Before I found out about your events, I stayed home and was a loner. Now I find myself being a social butterfly. My confidence level has never been higher. I've met so many friends and wonderful people. Thank you for what you have done!" - Sarah

"Peter, you probably don't remember me but I went to last year's Division Street Bar Crawl. I met this girl from Dubai and I had the week of my life. I just want to say thank you." - Tall young guy

The three above comments were made by our members. These are just three out of hundreds I have gotten over the last several years. It's hard to explain to people over a web page on why we're different and why I started this group in the first place. And to be honest, it's almost impossible to explain. I see so many comments on Meetup about how to meet people, on doing a "pre-meetup" before a meetup, on how to even show up at an event. It's because these people have never been to my events. And they think, accurately for the most part, that it's not just hard to meet people, but scary too. Who wouldn't be? But our meetups are not like any others. We're genuine, authentic and real. All our members are no different than other meetups that are disappointing but what makes us different is in our culture. We are an inclusive, friendly and social group. Why and how? Because we created this culture since our first meetup 4 years ago. And since then thousands have been to our events, thousands more have connected, hundreds have met their best friends and even over a dozen have gotten married. Yup, all this because of a passion to connect others. Read my two blogs and you will understand why I did all this: How It All Started and Creating a Phenomenon.

Now, creating all these events hundreds of them a year so we can connect thousands of Chicagoans take much effort and time. That's why for the most part we charge a small fee, usually $10 for our events for our hosting and organizing services as well as event expenses. Or if you want to save money, subscribe for just $9.99 a month and go to our events at no extra charge. We hope you understand for a small amount we are able to change lives for the better.

So, don't worry about meeting people here. I guarantee you that you will have a good time and that you will meet interesting people. If you are still nervous (and it's okay) just direct message me and I will try my best to answer your questions.

Welcome to New Bar Meet Friends Every Two Weeks for 20's and 30's!  We are one of the fastest growing meetup groups.  Why?  Simple.  Unlike other social meetup groups, where they recycle 2-3 places, we will actually do what we promise to do in our name; new bar, meet friends, every two weeks.  Awesome and Brilliant!

We are an adventurous group.  Besides meeting new people and making new friends, we actually explore Chicago by going to new neighborhoods, trying out new bars, new beers, and new drinks.  If you are a fun, outgoing, and friendly person, this meetup is for you.  Or if you like to be more fun and adventurous, join us too!  You will be among friends.

Every two weeks, young professionals come together to drink, socialize and to explore Chicago.  For example, have you always wanted to visit a Chicago neighborhood but never gotten the chance?  Always wanted to do a pub crawl with an awesome group of people?  Check out rooftop bars, riverfront bars, beer gardens?  How about something different like Jazzin' at the Shedd?  Hanging out with friends at a street festival?  Heck, how about going to the most fun block party in Chicago?  Yes! Yes! Yes!

In short, New Bar outings are the best social events to meet people and make new friends.

Join us and RSVP to our events to see how much fun you'll be having.  Our unique events are always packed and our members always have a great time.  We're all cool and friendly.  In fact, many of our members are already friends.  At the minimum you'll be having a great time exploring Chicago (for real!) and meeting new people.  C'mon and hop in the fun train!

New Bar events are hosted by MPCEvents.com.  Welcome to the Phenomenon.

West Suburban Millennials Fun Group

Naperville, IL

West Suburban Millennials Fun Group

Come join one of the largest meetup groups in the Chicago suburbs!

This group is for millennials (people born in the 80s & 90s) who want to take advantage of the best the Western Chicago Suburbs has to offer. This is the perfect group for people who want to have a great time, but don't want to drive to the city to meet new friends. Feel free to suggest activities you are interested in!

If you are anxious about meeting new people, hang in there. It can take a while to feel comfortable around a new group of people. Also, you may want your first event to be in a setting that involves an activity you already enjoy. Although it's great to try new things, you might not want to make it your first meetup. There should hopefully be something for everyone! We look forward to meeting you!

One important request...if you RSVP to an event and cannot make it, the group asks for a courtesy text message, email, or status change on the event site with substantial notice. Some events require a certain number of people for us to receive special discounts. Your cancellation provides the opportunity for your organizers to modify reservations as needed. After 3 no shows with no attempted communication, you will not be able to participate in the group. Your consideration is much appreciated!

Coffee & Conversations (Naperville)

Naperville, IL

Coffee & Conversations (Naperville)
Coffee and Conversations is an intellectual discussion group that meets regularly in Naperville. As a discussion group, we discuss a variety of topics that are cultural, philosophical, metaphysical, and theological in nature. \ One aim we have is to provide a space for deeper discussions with each other, discussions on topics that we may not normally get to have on a regular basis, and give opportunities to enjoy conversation and build new friendships with each other. \ Another aim we have is to engage topics with the hope of a better understanding of the truth about them and the truth about reality. This second aim I would argue makes our discussion group different from others. We, Andrew and Tom who facilitate and lead the group, hope our members will use this time to consider the truth about the topics we consider together. Now this second aim is clearly shaped by a worldview that Andrew and Tom share, a Christian worldview. As Christians, Andrew and Tom believe truth is important and ought to be sought after, and we hope that each of you will seek after it in our time together. Thus, the purpose of coffee and conversations is not to have a group that merely promotes an all-encompassing inclusivism or a group that simply affirms everyone’s views of a topic or perspective on reality. Rather, we hope that each person will come to coffee and conversations and learn a new way of viewing a topic, meet new friends, and ultimately seek to discover what might be the truth about a topic and reality. We realize that may not make this group everyone, but it seems that it certainly does appeal to many (a vast majority of those who attend are not Christians). We have only 3 rules: RESPECT, LISTEN, LEARN. This group is facilitated and led by Tom and Andrew and is sponsored by Cross of Christ Fellowship. \
