Ladies Loving Life
• We are a women’s only group, based in the SW Suburbs, but we wander everywhere! • Members are 39 & up, single, retired, married, working, etc. • As each member brings their own unique sense of style to the group, our backgrounds, views & interests may be different, but we have one thing in common-friendship & a love of adventure & new experiences. • Check out our website & the variety of events we have planned! • We invite you to try us - you’ll like us!!! • SO---what are you waiting for?? Come join us & meet new friends & share in new experiences! LADIES LOVING LIFE (LLL) BASIC POLICIES & PROCEDURES (we don’t have many rules but we do need some to keep the group running smoothly & to be considerate of our fellow members & event venues) BASICS: \*\*LLL needs a picture of you in your profile, not your pet, kids, car, etc.  Everyone wants to be able to identify/meet you at events. \*\*Make sure your phone/computer settings are set up to receive postings of new events & messages from organizers/members.  Check the group’s website regularly. EVENT RSVP/WAIT LIST: \*\*PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you read the ENTIRE description of an event, this includes RSVP deadline dates & payment dates.  Want to attend? Just hit ATTEND to respond yes. \*\*Our events are always open to LLL members first. If an event allows guests, you will be able to add a +1 to your RSVP. If the event is not open to guests, you will not be able to add a +1. If your guest wishes to join you at the event, your guest will need to join the LLL group. If your guest does not wish to join the LLL group, & you both still wish to attend the event, we are sorry but you, & your guest, will not be counted in the LLL table reservation seating. Reservation seatings are always open to LLL members first. \*\*If you RSVP yes & the event is full, you will be placed on a “wait list”.  It is your responsibility to check the event to see if you have been moved up to the RSVP. list from the wait list (members cancel for a variety of reasons, so your chances are good). \*\*If you still have a question on an event, please contact the host(s) through their Meetup profile.  Just click on their picture & you will be able to send them a private email. \*\*Out of courtesy & respect to our host(s) & our event venues, please do not RSVP to an event unless you are committed, please do not RSVP with the thought of “I’ll sign up & plan on going until something better comes along”.  You can always check back later if your schedule permits & RSVP yes to an event. \*\*PLEASE check in with your event host, we want to enjoy this event with you, have you meet & mingle with other members, & make sure that you arrived safely. \*\*If you have RSVP'd yes to an event & change your mind, it is your responsibility to remove yourself from the RSVP list, not the host(s). \*\**Cancellation of your RSVP for restaurant events is 72 hours (3 days), 48 hours (2 days) for all other venues, unless noted in the specific event posting.* If you cancel after that time, you will be marked as a no-show. You are responsible for removing yourself from the RSVP no matter when you cancel your RSVP, not an organizer or the event organizer. LLL needs to be considerate of restaurants & venues & their staffing needs. \*\*LLL has the “3 strikes & you’re out rule”.  If you RSVP to an event & do not show up, are past the deadline for removing yourself from the RSVP list, or change your mind at the last minute on attending, we mark you as a “no-show”.  Three “no-shows” & we sadly remove you as a member for 3 months. MEMBER REMOVAL FROM GROUP: \*\*Three "no-shows" & you will be removed from the group for three months. \*\*All of us at LLL want to build friendships/community, so if you have not attended an event within 3 months, visited the LLL website within 3 months, exhibited inappropriate behavior (see below), or are continually RSVPing to events & cancelling, you will, sadly, be removed as a member for three months. \*\*Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated at any LLL event. This includes, but is not limited to: habitual lateness, rudeness, bullying, harassment of any kind, discrimination, being disrespectful, interfering with a group event in any way, etc. Said member will be immediately removed from the group. LAST BUT NOT LEAST & THE MOST IMPORTANT: *HAVE FUN, MEET NEW PEOPLE, TRY NEW THINGS!* *\*\*If you ever have any ideas for a fun event, please contact LLL's organizers!*

Wikipedia defines Social Clubs as: **Social activities clubs** are a modern combination of several types of clubs and reflect today's more eclectic and varied society. These clubs are centered around the activities available to the club members in the city or area in which the club is located. Some have a traditional clubhouse, bar, or restaurant where members gather; others do not. Events can include a broad range of activities from sporting events and social parties to [ballet](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballet), arts or [book clubs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_discussion_club). Unlike traditional clubs they are not limited to one kind of event or special interest but include a broad range of events in their monthly calendars. The members choose the events in which the club is going to take part, based upon the changing interests of the members. The members themselves determine the events they will attend of those offered. And so it is.....We are a Social Activities Club......In the truest sense and form. With being a Social Activities Club comes Rules. Mission Statement: To continue to be as engaged and relevant in this stage of our lives as we were leading up to it. By doing so we can continue to learn, to grow, to embrace life in ways that enrich our own and all of those we meet along the way. Vision Statement: To make new friends, share old and new interests and live a life full of activities that are diverse, interesting and fulfilling.

Northwest Indiana and Burbs Singles & Couples Social Group!

Highland, IN

Northwest Indiana and Burbs Singles & Couples Social Group!
Whats up NWI and South Suburbs?! Are you ready for some fun events in the region!? Here's an opportunity for meeting new people and connecting with old friends for some! We strive to have non-intimidating, comfortable social events after work and on the weekends. So, why spend the weekend sitting at home alone when you could be hanging out with a bunch of fun loving singles & couples from the area? You may have noticed our name change and new direction for our group. While we have always been open to singles, couples, those dating, its now more clearly stated. Since many of us over the years have formed friendships, relationships (dating and otherwise) and even gotten married, it seems the name "SINGLES" was a bit misaligned with who we are today as a group. So therefore, we have broadened our description and are revising our alignment. Who is this group for? ANY singles, couples, any adults, any lifestyle, ethic or religious background. Married, divorced, separated, etc. ALL are welcome! Who do we not welcome: * Men hitting on women through private PMs in the group, Disrespectful, rude behavior is not tolerated. Trolling women in PM's and generally being "creepy". * We are not Match.com. Anyone being offensive on private messages will be removed. Keep in mind that lots of the women on this site are not looking for someone to date. They might already have someone special in their life. * If you want to meet someone to date in this group who isn't attached, please do it in person, not in private messages. If you have met someone in person and want to continue the conversation, private messages are great for that! * Kids (note that picnics and private events we usually include kids but most events are ADULT ONLY) That being said, our ages range quite a bit and most age groups are welcome. Our average ages of members are **40's - 60's** though. If you are in your twenties or thirties, we might be too "mature" for your tastes. If you're age seventies and beyond, you might not be "in pace" with us. Or you might. It just depends on the person. Join us for our next meetup! We would love to meet you! Mike & Erica Events Planners/Organizers A few rules and comments: * If you have not uploaded a picture of yourself yet, we highly recommend this. We need to know who to look for at the meetups and it helps us to remember your name. * If you join this group and do not attend meetups for a very long period of time (like a year or more) or continue to RSVP and do not cancel and do not show up, you will eventually be removed. Its OK to change your mind and UN-RSVP before the meetup at any time. People who continue to "No Show" regularly though, will eventually be removed. Please be accountable to the events that you say that you will attend (especially those that require reservations). * If you don't log onto the meetup site at least once in 10 months or more, you're probably going to be removed. Please don't get your panties in a bunch over it. We're just cleaning house. No hard feelings. Rejoin at ANY TIME! We would love to have you back! There is no point in wasting your time or ours if you're not into the group though. * If you joined this group without using your real first name, you will be removed. You do not have to include your last name in your profile but no "nicknames" or made-up names please. If we are not doing the kinds of meetups you would like to see, please suggest meetups! Volunteer to lead meetups as well! We are open to many new ideas. Members will have the opportunity to sign up for these meetups. \*\*VOLUNTEERS ARE IMPORTANT!\*\* We need you to step up and help! There is no way that we can do it all. Start a discussion today and get people motivated about your ideas! * Please see other group rules on the discussion board. If you have concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are very understanding with privacy concerns.
