Hoping to bring all sorts of people together that normally wouldn't meet in order for everyone to gather a new crew of friends! Couples over 40 looking to meet other couples for dinner, drinks etc.

This group is for anyone interested in building their sea kayak skill set following either the ACA or BCU philosophy. It is our hope that the group turns into a resource network for those seeking the highest paddling awards in terms of personal skills and coaching.

Although it is not the intent of this group to arbitrarily prevent people from joining, due to the nature of the paddling we expect to encounter, potential members must, at a minimum, have passed BCU 3* or ACA Level 3 or have equivalent skills level, (potential organizers must have taken BCU 4* Leader Training or the ACA Level 4 Open Water Training).

All trips originating from this group will be led trips (not Common Adventure Model), giving members opportunities to lead trips for their logbooks and also help other members by being part of a led group.  We encourage existing BCU 5* / ACA Level 5 paddlers to join as well and share their knowledge / experiences with the group.

All singles, and especially single baby boomers, who are able and willing to enjoy several vacations throughout the year with other singles. In our 21st year, we've brought hundreds singles to Europe, the Caribbean, and throughout the US.
We organize other local activities designed to have strangers become friends. Numerous long term relationships have developed, with many ending up in marriages. A lot of our members are professionally employed, many are gainfully retired, and many committed to enjoying the benefits of traveling with other singles.

Hi everyone! We're a knitting, crocheting, and crafting group based north of Boston. 

This group is for knitters, crochet-ers, needle-pointers, or other hand-craft aficionados of all sorts. We will meet (when we can!) at a local restaurant/brewery north of Boston, and either share the progress we've made on our projects, or find a little motivation to get back into them. We'll meet new friends, enjoy conversation, and taste delicious brews.
