North Attleboro Area Women's Social Club (Ages 40 to 65+)

North Attleboro, MA

North Attleboro Area Women's Social Club (Ages 40 to 65+)
Hi! This group's main goal is to bring ladies together for fun activities and making new friends in the ‘second half’ of our lives (40+). Single, married, kids or not, it doesn’t matter. Just be someone that wants to participate or expand your social circle in a positive, drama-free environment. Wouldn’t it be nice to have new friends to see a movie with? Or go for a walk, game night or conversation over a beverage? A meal together or a friends-night-out?  I've created this social group with both planned and impromptu events (and unlike some other social clubs, we have frequent events, usually one or two a week - not every few months.) Events are mostly local to N. Attleboro and the surrounding towns so that it’s convenient for all.  Events are widely varied and keep it budget-friendly. ***Additional Information*** **-Do not be a "no show" if you have signed up for an event.**  If you RSVP to an event and find that you cannot go, you must update your status to a 'Not Going'.  Otherwise it holds up everyone else from having their fun, and I spend my time looking for someone that isn't coming instead of enjoying myself.  Unfortunately, I will remove chronic "no show" member from the group. **-I require that you have a photo of yourself in your member profile in order to be approved as a member. We can't tell who we are looking for if your photo is blank or a picture of a dog or sunset :)** DINING OUT: For dining out/drinks, each member pays only for what they eat/drink plus 20% tip and tax. \*\***If you are new to the group**, please do not be shy or nervous about attending! *Dozens that have attended one of our events for the first time have commented that they were made to feel very welcome and that they were happy they went 'outside their comfort zone' to go an event with this group.* We always seem to have a chatty crowd and no one is ever left out of the conversation! ***\*\*Regarding Guests\*\**** I get messages asking if guests can be brought to an event. The answer is, "yes, IF they are also women aged 40ish-65+".  Many members have expressed that they enjoy 'ladies' night out' (aka time away from children and significant others) as well as having a group of women 'our age' to talk with. Please message me about bringing a female friend before the event, especially if it is an event with a reserved table. I need to restrict pets from coming unless the event expressly invites them. We may have members with allergies or issues, and we do not want to alienate anyone. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions, thank you for understanding.\*\*
