Welcome to our BIPOC Queer Womxn Social Group on Meetup.com! This group is for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color queer women who are looking to connect with others in the LGBT community. Whether you're looking to make new friends, network, or simply have a good time, this group is the perfect place for you. We will do more intimate and intricate events with this group compared to Hartford Happenings such as: -Day Trips & Group Trips -Concerts -Movie nights and potlucks at members’ homes -Monthly Brunch -Weekly Happy Hour It’s a blend of the comfort and familiarity of old friends and the excitement of new friends that you’re likely to think are great. Group is mostly Boomers and people who appreciate their company age 45+ from BOTH East AND West of the River. Meetup locations will range from Enfield to the Manchester/Vernon and Mansfield/Coventry areas to encourage attendance.  Venues will range from coffee and light snacks to fine dining. If you have any ideas please let us know.  While we don’t want anyone to feel “pressured” to participate once they are at an event, please understand that because we are attempting to keep our gatherings small your RSVP response is very important. If you change your mind about an event please cancel your RSVP at least 24 hours prior to the event. **If no-shows happen 3 times you will be removed from the group. Admins have to be there based on your attendance response, you should have the courtesy to let them know your plans in advance.** Organizers reserve the right to cancel and/or change events and locations. This group is designed for professional (working or retired) women 50+. Married or single. Women who want to enjoy the company of other POSITIVE THINKERS who love life and want to share it with new friends! My friends and I love meeting new people. A group of us go to downtown Springfield on Friday nights for poetry, art, and live music at Artists Cafe. It's a great way to connect with people and feel part of the community. Would love to have new people join us. Want to explore more arts stuff in Amherst and Northampton too. We also want to do karaoke (there's a place 7 nights a week in Chicopee), ice skating, movies, game nights, watch sports. I also love deep discussions, maybe will organize philosophy/bible discussions. Our group is mostly singles, but anyone is welcome. I think many of us have an artsy side of us, that goes dormant with the demands of life. But tapping into that creative within can really do wonders for the soul.

New England Bitcoin is hosted in East Windsor, CT but includes members from CT, MA and NY. Join as as we explore the many aspects of bitcoin as it grows from a nascent asset into a world changing, revolutionary advancement in what money means to the human population.

If you're like me and either recently relocated to the area, or have found yourself in the adulthood "friendship slump", with most of your friends either engrossed in their own families or otherwise just unavailable for fun at the drop of a hat, then you need some new friends! This group is geared toward 30-50 something's who still have a pulse and want to get out and explore the area and do some fun things! To start off with, the group will be tailored around things I like to do, and as we grow, I'd love to add some activities you will suggest! Things I like: local craft beer, hiking, kayaking, camping, cook outs, local festivals, paddle boarding, jet-skiing, adult arcade, anything outdoors! . I don't want this to be the type of meetup that's too specific with one type of activity. Lets just do whatever we find fun! And yes, there will be alcohol. My goal will be to cultivate a small to medium size group of regular members who come out a lot and participate so we can all get to know each other and create some real friendships. I will actively limit the group to a size I think is manageable, and will periodically remove members who are not active to create space for some new people to join. I'll try to keep approved members within the scope of 30-50 something adults who seem like they will mesh well with the group. Ideally we are looking for people who aren't over-extended in too many other groups and whose other groups reflect a similar mindset. We don't approve all applicants as we are trying to keep the group small and find people who will mesh with our existing members. Hello! Welcome to the MeetUp page for the Western Mass (formerly Berkshire) Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club! We encourage all of our community members to engage in our activities, whether or not you are a member.
