Our group is perfect for those looking to explore the beautiful outdoors, get some exercise, and make new friends in Frederick, MD. Our members are in their 20's and 30's and come from diverse backgrounds, but we all share a love of nature and adventure. New friends must be acquired as former couple friends distance themselves from the discomfort of choosing sides. Financial decisions must be made as the equation has changed. Most of all, you need advice and support as the long-trusted shoulders may no longer be there for you. MASS is designed to help those individuals who find themselves alone in this unique way; unable to fully move on with their lives through traditional dating and activities targeted more to single parents and the fully divorced. We welcome members who have already gone through the process as their experience and insight will be beneficial. Activities will generally be geared to those who are considering separation or are separated today and will range from casual coffee gatherings and dinners, speakers and educational sessions, to kid-friendly venues and activities for soon-to-be-single moms and dads. Many of our members' have finalized their divorce, and those who have completed the process are welcome to remain in the group as resources. The group is based in Frederick Maryland but has a large membership that includes people from areas as far away as Hagerstown, Columbia, Gettysburg, Chambersburg and Rockville. Frederick Tea and Talk Meetup (Ladies Only)

When this group was created, the founding organizer had recently moved to Frederick, Maryland. She wanted to meet new women friends and get together for a cup of tea, enjoyable conversation, and occasional outings. This spirit of friendship continues as Frederick Tea and Talk has grown and evolved. We now include a variety of activities based on current participants’ interests. There are garden tours, theater, museums, brunches, weekend outings and more. We regularly host a FIRST TUESDAY (of each month) for a local get together and then add other teas, potluck lunches, and outings to the calendar. Sorry, please do not bring children to any of our teas or scheduled events. This is our time to relax :)
