Heal Yourself meetup

Highland, MI

Heal Yourself meetup
The purpose of our meetup is to **share knowledge to heal ourselves** wholistically from whatever ails us, to encourage each other towards optimal health and longevity. We seek *permanent* solutions by healing the root cause of our ailments so they won't return, and then maintain a healthy lifestyle for mind, body, and spirit. Our meetups are strictly designed for critical thinking do-it-yourselfers. Medical information will not be given. Alternative practitioners and **Truth seekers** are encouraged to join IF your **health is a top priority** and you are **serious about taking *action*** to improve your health.  Meetups will be at least monthly and if we create a Mastermind accountability subgroup we may even meet weekly. Although we’re 'based' in Highland, in fact, our meetups could be anywhere. Do you want to have a meetup near you? Then suggest a location to us. **Responsibilities of Membership**: By joining our meetup group you accept full Responsibility for your own actions, or lack of actions, as the case may be. We are a public outreach meetup related to **health self-reliance**. It is up to each of us as responsible self-reliant adults to encourage and help each other build our community. **Disclaimers**: Each member assumes full responsibility for deciding if each presenter or member meets their own standards of people they deem fit to teach them the knowledge/skills. All meetups posted are for educational and skill building purposes only. The information shared and techniques presented or practiced have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The organizer pays meetup nearly $200 yearly from her own pocket and she plans to continue to do so for those who desire to share her aspirations to live beyond the age of 100 with full mobility, vitality, cognition, eyesight, and joy. Contributions are gratefully accepted. Questions? call Chriss at 248 330-6428/cell

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

You can expect to be greeted with a warm smile, open heart, and the buzz of friendly chatter. You are welcome to grab a cup of coffee and a treat as you enter worship. After service, please join us for an extended time of hospitality with coffee, pastries, and other goodies. We would love to get to know you. Also, we invite you to turn in a Connection Card and pick up a free gift on your way out.

Children are invited to begin worship with their families. After the Gloria Patri, they are welcomed up for "A Time for Young Followers of Jesus" after which they will be dismissed to Sunday School. After the Hymn/Song after the Sermon, the children will be brought back into worship service. As a first-time guest, you are asked to come with them to fill out all the appropriate forms and meet the teachers.

The children will begin together with singing, then break up into two groups. Pre-K and Kindergarten kids meet in the Nursery, and Grade 1-5 meet their Kids Club Room.

Middle School and High School youth remain in worship service with the exception of "youth volunteer assistants".

Our nursery is staffed by volunteers or you may watch your own children if you choose. There is also a cry room at the rear of the sanctuary, where you can still participate and hear the worship service.

Huvi Learn - Hands-On Film & Video Workshops

Clarkston, MI

Huvi Learn - Hands-On Film & Video Workshops
Discover the essentials of film and video in Southeast Michigan! Returning to Michigan after 11 years in NYC, I faced the challenge of launching a new career in the film & video industry. Traditional resources like online courses and YouTube lacked the personalized guidance I needed, so I pursued a one-year trade certificate in independent filmmaking, gaining expertise in both creative and business aspects. Now, drawing from my experience, I offer hands-on workshops for self-taught visual artists and content creators struggling to navigate the industry. Unlike online tutorials, my in-person sessions provide non-judgmental feedback and insights from someone with practical industry knowledge. Say goodbye to the uncertainties of YouTube and Reddit, and join us if you're seeking a more personalized and effective learning experience without the formalities of certification! \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Owner and Instructor Caitlin Reid specializes in providing film training and video workshops for video and filmmaking enthusiasts looking to further develop their understanding of creative filmmaking techniques and key principals of videography and film production. She started developing her workshops after working in a local camera shop and seeing other self-taught filmmakers, artists, and creators struggle with the same things she did before going to back to school and gaining industry experience. Caitlin loves working with people from all backgrounds and knowledge levels, from focused beginners to veterans of related industries (e.g. photography) looking to expand their creative options. Her passion is breaking down the technicalities of videomaking to learners of different levels, with compassion and understanding. With her background that ranges from independent cinema to corporate marketing to technical training, she brings a wealth of experience to each session, ensuring that attendees are provided with insightful feedback and expert advice. Camping and Hotel Club

White Lake, MI

Camping and Hotel Club
The Camping and Hotel Club encourages vacations in a friendly, caring, and fun loving environment. We encourage camaraderie, safety, exploration, inner growth, and trust. **Samuel Langhorne Clemens quotes, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness..." and, "Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."** **Traveling is good for you, and us too! We need a good friend like you! - Ernie N' Gea** Planning, researching, and organizing a trip is our gift. We research inexpensive vacations and share our findings for free. Follow the instructions for the event itinerary, and join us! We share and disclose all information, (airlines, flight numbers, hotels, dates, contact information, event data, etc.) according to the itinerary. Pay the vendors directly. No modus operandi for profit regarding travel events. Trips are researched and organized free. Money or articles of value are not accepted for attending, organizing, or enjoying our vacations. We attend in person, rain or shine, and offer full disclosure of the itinerary, revealing approximate cost, knowledge, and answering questions honestly. Invitations to travel with strangers are denied. Attend a "Meet and Greet Dinner" before traveling with us. (Meet and Greet Dinners are hosted before the trip.) Gea and Ernie are married. With love and respect we celebrate being a couple for five years. We refuse to share hotel rooms, camping spots, cabins, or personal space with the clubs members. Do not ask. **"Everyone has something to offer, and everyone is a someone." - Mr. So and So** Trips that foster connection, education, harmony, and open mindedness shine. Warmth, optimism, and fond memories make excellent vacations. Travel and adventure... Ernie N' Gea
