The first events are likely to be virtual until we find sponsorship for events but all content suggestions welcome. The goal of this group is to have events that promote fun and fellowship. This is a no-drama group that welcomes anyone, single or married. This is meant to be a mature group for anyone that wants to go out and have a few drinks with other like-minded people who just want to unwind and have a good time. Some of the past outings have included dinners, plays to the Fisher and Fox theatre, picnics ,concerts, music bingo ,brunches, tours, art classes, pottery making, wine tastings, cooking classes, sign making, Bbqs , game nights, bowling, spa days, bus trips, cruises, camping, etc. * We have at least 4-12 events or more scheduled each month to choose from. * **BUT** the only stipulation is that you have to attend at l**east one or more events within a 6 month timeframe (180 days) to maintain membership to the group.** * ***One no show results in removal from the group. So make sure that you change your RSVP if your plans change and you are unable to attend*** The Organizer/Organizers reserves the right to remove any member that creates drama, gossip, or negativity in the group. This is a fun loving group and the goal is to make some new friends in a calm and friendly environment. Sure its scary to meet new people at first but you will definitely love this group. If running more than 5 minutes late or cannot make it\, please post a message on the event comments so the event is not overshadowed as to your whereabouts \- we do care about our members\. 3\. Two "no shows" within a six\-month window may get you moved to the waitlist after you RSVP to an event \- if a large waitlist\, you might get moved to the waitlist after one "no show" 4\. Three \(3\) "no shows" will invite removal from the group\. This does not apply if you were added to the "going" list the day of the event\.

We are a smaller group wanting to bring single people together, ages 50 and up, to create new friendships. \*This is not a dating group but a group of like-minded people enjoying each other's company.\* Most activities will occur in northern Macomb County (18 Mile Road and north). We'll get together in smaller groups (10 people or less) so we can really get to know each other. Getting out for walks in area parks will occur at least once or twice a week (depending on group interest, weather and my availability). We'll walk 2+ miles at a leisurely pace (about 2.8 mph). \*\*\*This is not a fitness group but a social group.\*\*\* We'll also enjoy lunches or dinners at area restaurants/pubs and share good food with good people and laughs. We are a friendly and welcoming group of people that are always looking to make new friends. You do not need a partner to attend any of our weekly dance classes or our Dance Parties. This group is for seasoned single professional individuals. It’s the original and first group of 50+ and Singles.
