Meet new friends groups near Saint Paul, MN

Hi Ladies! Started this group because I'm new to town and am ready to find my tribe in this incredible city and I imagine there are a lot of ladies out there who feel the same way whether you are new to Minneapolis or have lived here for awhile and want to get to know new people. My goal for the group is to get out an experience all this city has to offer-think brunch, happy hours, dinners, game nights, concerts, festivals, movies in the park, workout classes, sporting events-literally anything and everything. Let's explore all this city has to offer while developing new and lasting friendships. Can't wait for all of us to get a chance to meet each other!

Lots of Meet up groups have come and gone in the Twin Cities.....but friendships remain....this group is a combination of many.  Most members of this group are in their late 30's to early/mid 50's, although we welcome members of all ages.  We want this group to be inclusive of all friendships that have formed through Meet Up. Feel free to refer friends to this group....we plan to keep these activities as self-pay, hang out types of events.  If you are interested and willing to donate a few dollars towards the meet up fees you can simple contact one of the organizers.  We require a recogzinizable photo and first name in your profile to join the group to assist in getting to know each other and find each other at events.

Casual Meet Up for those pursuing financial freedom & flexibility in their life. Whether through passive investing, real estate, entrepreneurship, start ups, frugality, if you desire to design a life that you can enjoy while also making money and securing your future, come out and chat! We want to challenge each other, share ideas, and talk finance. You don't need a specific background or skill set...just a desire to shirk the traditional "9 to 5 till 65" in favor of a more personalized direction.

Events will be casual meet up style over coffee or drinks unless otherwise specified.

Splashing in puddles. Playing tag. Chasing fireflies. Running through sprinklers. Jumping in leaf piles. Autumn bonfires. Making snow angels. Ice skating in the backyard. Staying outside until nearly frozen solid. Warming up with hot cocoa and the laughter of good friends beside you.

Didn’t it seem like it was easy to make friends during childhood and as a young adult? There was always someone from the neighborhood, or school to get together to do something with. Moreover, there was always someone (or a group of people) that were there to share in the joys of life and had your back when things weren’t going so great.

As an adult, I miss that camaraderie and I find in this fast paced society, it’s difficult to make new friends. I created Sirius Friends Twin Cities, for people ages 30 to 50, to meet with the hope of creating, cultivating and nurturing life-long friendships. Sirius is the brightest star in the sky – it often sparkles and flickers with many colors. Let’s be a bright spark in each other’s lives -- a group we can turn to, to have a good time and a group we can count on when we hit a few bumps in the road of life. I’m keeping the group on the smaller side, so we can get to know each other. This is NOT a dating/love matchmaking group.

I invite you to join us if you’re interested in the same. A variety of group activities will be offered from happy hours, to game nights, to movies, to bingo, to bonfires under the stars. Who knows? Maybe we’ll catch a glimpse of a firefly bringing a little magic to the night sky.

This MeetUp is intended to be a Creative Catchall for all things utilizing new technologies to create interesting things. Grab a beer and some snacks and talk shop about everything from CAD software, Prototyping, Electronics, 3D Printing, Tech Art & Sculpture, Robotics, Crowd-Sourcing, Product Design...whatever! If it's creative and leverages modern tools to get it done, we want to hear about it. We'll try to have a loosely-structured meeting covering a variety of interesting tech topics.
