This group is for singles that enjoy activities together while building friendships in or near locations primarily around the Metro East IL 618 area code. This includes Grafton, Alton, Edwardsville, Highland, Collinsville, Maryville, Belleville, Fairview Heights, O’Fallon, and more. However, we'll also have some events in the St Louis area. (That's the "beyond" part ;-). There is so much to do and experience in our area - great places to eat, events and activities that are interesting, history related, and unique, as well as many outdoor opportunities. I work for an organization that brings Internationals here on internships in the U.S. They are all young professionals who come for at least one year. I have several here in St. Louis who would like to participate in various activities with other internationals as well as Americans. I would encourage anyone that is interested in different cultures to participate. All members are invited to host family dinners, activities, and social gatherings. I will also be planning various events around St. Louis. I want to also encourage internationals of all ages that have made St. Louis their home to join us. New Ballwin park has a great sand volleyball pit that nobody uses. Know what’s next to it? A tennis court. Low Rec, all ages. (My teen kids and I are doing this, so it’s all fun.) We're all about expanding our social circle. Our main thing is dining out and we pick restaurants in the St. Louis area to suit various budgets. However, we also want to spice things up with fun activities like attending local events, enjoying live theater, or maybe bowling or mini golf. If you have an event or idea in mind, feel free to share it with us. Typically, we have two monthly events with a primary focus on dining out, but stay tuned for other interesting possibilities. **Important things to consider:** **RSVPs are essential to ensuring an accurate headcount.** Restaurants need to plan on sufficient help and food to accommodate our group. Therefore, no-shows end up costing them. Also, keep in mind that someone on the waiting list has an opportunity to go if you update your “going” status to “not going.” If you don’t show up without letting us know, they miss out. **If you have to cancel,** please do so before the day of the event. This way I can let the restaurant know in time for them to adjust their plans accordingly. **If the event is filled up, don’t worry!** You will automatically be placed on the waiting list. Sometimes (especially in summer), a nice T-shirt is OK. But more often, casual attire would be more appropriate. **It’s not about cruising. It’s not about hookups.** Our objective is to socialize and have fun in environments that are an alternative to the bar scene. The events are opportunities for guys to hang out and meet new friends where sex and alcohol aren’t what it’s all about. I created this group for women to connect in a fun and adventurous way. I am a single mom of 3 and I am always pushing myself out of the box to try new and innovative ways to keep challenging myself to grow mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and financially. I want to make friends who want to be a part of a women's community that fosters this type of growth, strengthening belief in self, and raising women up to their full potential.

We are not a dating group. We are a group of single friends who get together for various activities in the Arnold area. We like to play games, go out to eat, watch movies, etc. We require that all members be fully COVID vaccinated, because many of our meetings are in someone's home and is a requirement for attendance.
