This Meetup is designed for those who seek to help African-Americans finally obtain the freedom promised by Dr. Martin Luther King, overcoming those last few remaining chains of slavery: racism, dependency, the Democrat Party, and the self-defeating and erroneous belief that their progress in some way depends upon the beneficence of White people. This Meetup was founded by Mason Weaver, a former Black militant and radio call-in show host, and the author of It's OK to Leave the Plantation.

This is a singles group, meant for singles to get off the couch and out of the house and meet others in your area.  This is a Singles group, but that doesn't mean it's a dating group(If you are just looking to hook up, get lucky, get laid this is NOT the place for you. There are plenty of other places for that online) 

 Hopefully you will find some new friends. With some luck, maybe some connections will be made.  (Seems every year we have happy couples meeting and getting married ) Come on out, have a good time. If you meet that special someone, great! If not, don't give up.

By now it's no secret that the St Louis region is a great place for great food! The problem is, most folks tend to think of places like the Hill, South Grand, the Central West End, or other "hip" spots when they think of good food in the St Louis region.

Surprise! West St Louis county has every bit as much great food as those areas! And we're here to introduce you to the culinary wonderland that is our region. From Italian to Thai, from Greek to Japanese, from great steaks to fresh seafood, from burgers to sushi, it's all here!

This group is private.   Do you like to dance, go to outdoor concerts, meet new people, parties, hike, happy hours?  We do it all!  We love to listen to live bands around town and try new things.  Get off your couch, sign up for something new!  We offer a great variety of activities, you will find something you like!  It is private:  It requires an individual to apply by answering some questions that tells us a little about you. The Fun Peeps organizer and assistant organizers specialize in certain types of events.  We do events all over St. Louis.  Anyone can post an event. We also welcome ideas, just have some basic facts about when to go, cost, etc. and let someone know!
