I basically have no friends and tired of missing out on fun things because I don't want to do them alone. I am hoping to make new friends and who knows, maybe we all will be BFF's. Stitches with Friends is a new meetup for women in their 20’s and 30’s who enjoy knitting and crocheting and are looking to meet up with other women in the South Jersey area who enjoy the same. Please bring your works in progress for a relaxing morning of stitching and good conversation. Whether you are brand new to the world of knit and crochet, or have been stitching for years, we would love to see you there! *Cross-stitchers and hand embroiderers/sewists are also welcome to attend—just please no sewing machines. We’ll skip the small talk with a style of connecting called Authentic Relating, designed for you to meet some new people and get to know others more easily. We will facilitate small group and one-on-one activities that are more than just the "what-do-you-do", "where-do-you-live" convos you’ve had a thousand times (and can be painfully awkward!).

By the end of the night you’ll have met everyone in the room! We’ll even handle passing along everyone’s contact info afterwards (with permission, of course).

This group is perfect for introverts, shy folks and people who don’t love a big happy hour. We usually have some light munchies to shmooze over.

We're a group of women over 50 who like to do things together and make new friends. Anyone who identifies as female is welcome. Events include walks and hikes, arts and crafts (making them or seeing them on display), music and movies, talks and workshops, or coffee and tea. The majority of our events will be in Philadelphia. Some of our members are sober, so while alcohol will sometimes be served at events, we don't choose events that revolve around drinking. Our goal is to get together, get acquainted, and have fun in good company. We're always open to new ideas for events, so feel free to suggest one!
