Join this social meetup to make cool connections with new friends. As you know, making friends as a real adult is soooo hard, but we can do this!

OUR ACTIVITIES

We aim to have diverse activities here at NBAW. These activities include happy hours, trivia nights, hikes, shows, restaurant outings, and more. We also have a sister book club. 

NO-SHOW/LATE CANCELLATION POLICY 

This group has a strict attendance policy for restaurant, movies, theater, and other limited events. For these events, please do not sign up if you're not certain you can attend. Whether your RSVP is Yes or you are still on the waitlist, if you need to cancel please do so 48 hours before the event so that others have a chance to take your place; otherwise it's considered a late cancellation and repeated late cancellations will affect your ability to attend future limited events. When you sign up, make sure your meetup notification settings allow you to receive organizer messages and emails.

The event organizer or host of each event has full control over whether No-Shows and/or Late Cancellers will be allowed to attend their future events. The decision of the event organizer or host is final. 

What constitutes a No-Show?
A No-Show is a member who RSVPs to an event and just never shows up. S/he never gets in touch with the Host(s) to inform her/him that they will not be able to make it.

What constitutes a Late Cancellation?
A late cancellation is considered to be informing the Host(s) LESS than 24 hours (48 hours for restaurant, shows, and other limited events) from the start of the event. "Informing" consists of email, call, text or post to the event page.

Meet other locals in your area to socialize and make new friends. I couldn't find many meetup groups in this area, so I decided to run this group. We can have some fun and get to know each other. Events are held in locations at or near to Middletown, Red Bank, Highlands, Atlantic Highlands, and other towns in Monmouth County. Anyone is welcome to join this group.

There are some rules: If you want to attend an event, please let me know at least 24 hours before. If you tell me you are coming, don't change your mind unless it is necessary. If you RSVP yes to an event, you must give me your phone number so I can contact you. Anyone who doesn't want to give me their phone number will be removed from the group. Any no-shows will also be removed. I want to have active members, so please try to attend at least one event each month.

The New Jersey Women’s Beach Group 35-55

The focus of this group is for women to have others to go to the beach with to socialize, have fun and form new friendships.

If you enjoy going to the beach and having others to chat with and hang out with this would be a good group for you.

Do you find that your friends are all too busy doing other things and don’t have the time, money or interest in going to the beach.

This will be a great opportunity to meet others who like going to the beach and participating in something enjoyable and fun.

The NY Passive House (NYPH) Meetups are organized by NYPH members, working to promote a healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient built environment through the promotion of the Passive House building standard. NYPH is an independent not-for-profit organization that facilitates the exchange of information and experiences, among local, national and international practitioners of the Passive House building standard. Presentations at the Meetup will vary from broad general introductions to specific concerns of materials, systems and methods. We hope the NY Passive House Meetup will make a meaningful and concrete contribution to the understanding of Passive House in New York. NYPH members include PH consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, home owners, energy conscious NY-ers and developers. By becoming a NYPH member, you support NYPH and get to go to all meetups for free and help us to create promote PH as a building standard in NYC Metropolitan Area. As well as get invited to attend Professional meetings, for more in depth Passive House topics The meetup members are people simply interested in finding out more about Passive House and besides NYPH members include all people simply interested in PH and would like to get updates of when/where NYPH events are taking place. Meetup members do pay a small fee, which helps to defray the cost of organizing NYPH events (again NYPH members get in for free).
